Nice food and good service but restricted (red meat orientated ) menu. Thus three stars seems appropriate.

We arrived on a Sunday Evening and to our luck found Kez open and enjoyed a 3 course meal with local wine for an incredible price. We are on a limited budget and while would have loved to have visited many other restaurants in the area, due to price and taste we visited at least 3 times always having something different from the menu. The 3 course lunch is just over 10 euros and the 3 course evening menu was 13.90 euros and we tried practically everything from the menu. Its all freshly cooked and the salads and vegetables accompanying the meals are incredibly fresh. We noticed lots of French people and locals too. They have a local wine list and the service was excellent. Its family run and we would go back

This small restaurant is located in a street off the main square and consequently offers better value for money. The €18.50 menu offers three or four choices for each course. We had the smoked salmon to start (a generous portion) and the seafood vol au vent (which my husband said would be hard to beat) followed by sliced duck, with fondant chocolate and creme anglaise to finish. It was not fine dining but good portions of French food well cooked.

Wine is reasonably priced and can be bought by the glass, 25cl, 50cl or the bottle.

There are a few tables outside which are pleasant on a warm evening and the interior is tastefully decorated.

Some reviews comment on the slow service. It was not 'fast food', but typical of many French restaurants and gave us time to savour an enjoyable meal.

Our second night we decided to give another place a go.

It is good, with helpful staff, but probably not quite as good as L'Ardoise, but nor is it as expensive.

Also menu's are in English and not as adventurous so possibly better for families or fussy eaters.

Food was very good still.
