We wanted something different - lighter, but tasty. We decided pizza might be good. We left our apartment near Place Plumereau in our quest to find Le Piccata. It took about 15-20 minutes, a little longer than expected as we couldn't find the right street - then we looked up and there it was - across the street!
It's an unpretentious place. Appeared to have locals sitting inside and out, several of whom knew each other. In fact, one woman seeing that we wanted an outdoor seat, immediately moved to join another table so that we could take over her four-top. My friend decided to test her French, much to the glee of the owners and the other diners. All good fun. The pizzas were superb - as was the arugula salad. The pitchers of local dry, rose wine were inexpensive and flowing! We had a wonderful time there. Highly recommend finding this place - a bit off the beaten path, and worth the walk.
