Small family run Italian, which offers pizza and salads with a limited number of specials, delicious reasonably priced food, the proprietor is friendly and welcoming. They sell wine by the pichet (delicious), but bottles also. Would visit again if we come back.

We wanted something different - lighter, but tasty. We decided pizza might be good. We left our apartment near Place Plumereau in our quest to find Le Piccata. It took about 15-20 minutes, a little longer than expected as we couldn't find the right street - then we looked up and there it was - across the street!

It's an unpretentious place. Appeared to have locals sitting inside and out, several of whom knew each other. In fact, one woman seeing that we wanted an outdoor seat, immediately moved to join another table so that we could take over her four-top. My friend decided to test her French, much to the glee of the owners and the other diners. All good fun. The pizzas were superb - as was the arugula salad. The pitchers of local dry, rose wine were inexpensive and flowing! We had a wonderful time there. Highly recommend finding this place - a bit off the beaten path, and worth the walk.

We had lunch at this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. Though they were supposed to close at 2:30 pm, they accommodated us till 3 : 30 pm. The couple serving us were friendly and warm. The service was fast and the food arrived quickly after the order was placed. We had pizzas and salads. Both were equally good and the portion was generous. I enjoyed the salade calypso. The cafe gourmand was great, 4 desserts and coffee for a relatively low price 6.9 €. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

The restaurant owners were warm and friendly. They were supposed to close at 230pm but still accommodated us when we made a reservation for 2pm. We only finished lunch at 330pm. Throughout the dining experience, they made us feel welcomed and served us with a smile. The food was also very good and service was fast. A plus point was that there were ample parking lots right outside the restaurant. Highly recommended.
