This was our last evening of a 2-week trip to Corsica and we weren't disappointed. They have a varied menu with various set menu combinations. As we were 5 and some wanted a part of one and not the other we mix-n-matched so we could take advantage of the beer and wine combinations. This was a very (and I mean VERY) busy season and the staff was running ragged. Our main waiter tried his best but sometimes things got lost by the secondary ones. One suggestion I would make staff-wise is the person who takes the order delivers but he has to have less tables.
The food was for the most part good except 1 (the fish) of the day. The Corsican menu (with beer was one of the best of our selection.
The view was great if you like to watch the ferries come and go. But the weather was great with visibility at 5 km+ so we could see the islands offshore.

In our first night in Corsica, we stayed in Bastia and we looked for a place to eat in our book guide. Le Cosi was recommended as one of the cheapest, with good food for the price. It was our first encounter with the prices in Corsica and it looked expensive to us (little did we know). The food was OK and the guys serving us were nice, but there was another woman who came asking if everything was good. We said it was, that we enjoyed the food and that we would like the check. She was very condescending in telling me how to say that in French, and then left. We had two ask for the check another two times and waited for it for over half an hour. I would have given it more stars if it weren't for this incident.

The front section is smoky but inside the ambiance is more glitzy. Few places open so was almost a last resort of the listed places, anyway the food was ordered from a plastic menu so wasnt so hopeful but the pulpo salad with a tangy vinagrette followed by a "le corse" veal burger - unusual for me but it was very tasty with Corsican ham and cheese. the batch wasnt too weedy and some nice full spud chips, and a decent glass of house red Bordeaux. Burger was a point - maybe could have had it rarer. Anyway not bad. Friendly service

We went there not so long ago. The interior is special and modern at the same time. We were welcomed by a kind lady. Her colleague was kind aswell.
As a starter we had the salmon tartare which is highly recommandable. We were surprised that the mussels Bastia style had bacon in it which is not a good combination at all. Always check if there is meat in what you order because they tend to put their (charcuterie" in everything (even as decoration) So overall it was quite okay but nothing exceptionnel.

We went to this restaurant after a walk in old Bastia, following Trip Advisor, and we left very satisfied. The tables are literally on the seafront, rather than round the corner, on the more busy old port. The portions are meant for construction workers, not for tourists, they are simply HUGE! The quality is well above average. I had excellent moules marine' and the chips were superior, my wife had the menu and just could not finish the enormous portions, but the starter, octopus salad, was so good I didn't have a problem in helping her! The fish in her menu was also very original and excellent, with a wonderful creamy sauce. One of our daughters had a pizza and it was excellent, the other had a fantastic burger, again with great sauces and terrific chips. The waiters were amazing, running like mad in order to make everyone happy. Unfortunately the kitchen was a but slow, but if you enjoy sitting on the seafront with a fresh beer why you should be in a hurry? Bottom line: the value for money of this place in my opinions is excellent, I would definitively recommend it, especially to families.
