When we booked a hotel we did not expect to end up in what seems to have previously been tenement flats before most but not have been divided up into "hotel" rooms. The rooms were generally clean and located well for access to the centre of Bastia. So, although not cheap for what you get, the rooms are adequate for a short stay or stop over when getting on/off a ferry. Best part was the inexpensive breakfast. I would have scored this 2 1/2 if it was possible - hence my score above.

Room Tip: near ferry port.

This hotel is in a good location but if you arrive by car then there is no hotel parking spaces only very limited street parking, we hired a car from Avis which is next to the hotel, when we returned the car, the parking was a nightmare. The room were basic but the bathroom was more modern and the air con was very efficient with a quiet mode, great for during the night. The one downside to our stay was our room was very close to the reception area and was very noisy with peoples coming and going, also noise from the receptions TV, however it was put on silent about 10pm. The breakfast was better than expected for a 2 star hotel and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is Ok for a short stay but ask for a room away from reception.

Basic hotel for a 2 star hotel. Clean. Very close to the embarkment ferry harbour. A little bit wird located in a flat of appartments. But for one night is not a big deal. A little bit expensive for what kind of services is offering

Just across the street from the landing of the ferry from Nice. Friendly service in the reception. We came in on a Sunday and the rental car companies in the city were closed, but a taxi ride for approximately 30 mins took us to the airport were we found all the companies open. (the rental company tried to charge us for a scratch on the side of the car, but fortunately we had taken pictures that documented that the scartch was there when we collected the car).

They say first impressions are the most important and certainly being greeted by a moody receptionist who wouldn't stop insulting everyone who wasn't from the island set the tone to a very disappointing stay. I've never seen someone as rude talking badly about their clients in front of them when they don't speak French. The hotel is situated conveniently near to the port for late arrivals like us. When asked about their free parking we got barked at that the whole of Corsica is a car park. Basically no parking dedicated by the hotel so their description about it is obviously wrong. Getting to the room was like walking through a run down private apartment block. Room was ok but certainly not worth the price considering the bed was not comfortable, it was loud with doors banging and the shower a cabin reminiscent from the 90s. Breakfast charged at the rate it's at is a rip off and we declined to have it instead going to a bakery round the corner for a nice bite at half the price. We saw guests settle for breakfast terrified by the receptionist constantly complaining and muttering about them, being thrown a basket of viennoiserie at the table. The most unwelcoming place I've ever been to. Perhaps ok for backpackers and certainly only to sleep a few hours before heading on your way.
