We stayed two nights and enjoyed the friendly people at the reception, the clean room and the comfortable bed. We als had quiet nights. The hotel is very well located in a interesting and lively neighbourhood.

Perfect location in the city centre, 5 minutes from the main square and to the main shopping streets. The hotel is located in the quiet street and despite the closeness to one of the main streets, there is not so much street noise inside and the room was quiet.
The whole hotel was very lovely and unique - a kind of shabby chic boutique-like place. Old house, a lot of antique furniture and original details such as the floor tiles and doors. We stayed at the 4th-floor apartment and we liked everything in it - especially the bookshelves full of old books and a lovely cabinet. The kitchen was very large and well equipped. The breakfast room is very cosy and lovely - you would really want to have a very long and lazy breakfast there!
I liked everything on it and would definitely stay there again.

We like to stay in the small hotels when travelling rather than chain hotels, and Hotel Central didn’t disappoint. Our room was small but charming and clean. The little decorating details added to the charm. The bathroom was small too, but perfectly adequate. We had breakfast in the little courtyard which was very pleasant. Staff were friendly and some spoke excellent English. They allowed us to leave our luggage there after checking out as long as needed. The hotel is in a great location. Easy to walk to the bus stops and restaurants, cafes and shops. Some good gelati in town too!

At the recommendation of a Corsican friend, I stayed at this hotel not once but twice. The desk is friendly and its location is ideal if you are coming or going by ferry, since it's a short walk to the pier. The rooms I've had have been quaint and country French. Quite comfortable with their own little balconies. Breakfast is offered and it's a nice continental spread. I'd certainly stay here again. I was flying to and from the island and had a lift but taxi fares are about 40 Euros; there's also a bus that is cheaper. Recommended for a short stay in Bastia, for sure.

Room tip: Ask for a little balcony if available.

Well located and friendly service, with a cosy if cramped inner garden and a personal touch - the building has great character, but maybe not for those who demand straight corners and glitz.

The downside was that we got a fourth floor room - the hotel has no elevator and the stairs look charming but are rather steep. Especially when you have to drag your luggage up them. For us it was not an issue, though, and the location is very good.

Parking space is prime out no the street, but it is a short walking distance (2 blocks) to a parking with both outdoors and underground parking space (Parking Place St-Nicolas). Park there and walk, instead of blocking the street while unloading.

I'd definitely stay at this hotel again,

Room tip: The hotel has no elevator. If you can't carry your luggage too far, request a room on the second floor
