I had a late dinner with friends at La Strasbourgeoise. I wanted to have a Choucroute and i had good memories of a previous dinner. The place is still the same, the time will not change it before long. The food was also good, as it was previously. The problem was with the sauter who was spelling awfully and strongly bad. It ruines the pleasure of the whole dinner.

Elegant and tasty place. Prices are very reasonable, eventhough it looks like a very expnsive French style. I had a menu including wine and main course; almost close to the mcdonalds menu price.

We like the Alsace cuisine, with its sauerkraut, smoked sausage and riesling wine. And that was exactly what we had for dinner in La Strasbourgeoise. The sauerkraut was rather mild with Some spices in it. You can choose different Meat/sausage combinaties. We had smoked porkbelly, smoked sausage, garlic sausage, frankfurter and two other smoked meats (can’t recall the name anymore). Together with the Riesling it tasted very good. We got a really huge portion, bug we finishes it all. The Waiter was impressed. The service was very pleasant and the interior was traditional, with blond wood, chandeliers, etc. Not expensive.

Odd experience....the first visit was overall good, nice service with nice food. Second visit the night after was a complete disaster! the waiter didn't speak a single word English, the steak we ordered well done came out raw, I ordered a 25cl caraff of wine but were served a 50cl caraff and in the confusion, the waiter accidentally spilled out half the carafe on my Gant Sweater......shirt ruined with red vine and no excuse or reimbursement! the Crepes Suzette was out and the dinner ended with my Daughter got a small green plastic toy binocular..!!?? wtf..? haha it was just to odd and strange not to laugh about!

Typical place that takes advantage of its location to provide an average soulless experience at a high "tourist" price.

Nothing is wrong but prices make it so.
