Typical french cafe, close to Louvre. In spite of the fact that the cafe is located in the tourist zone, and as usual it happens in such places you come across to rude waiters and not quite tasty food, everything here was absolutely the opposite. We were 6 people of different ages - 2 teenagers, 3 adults, and 1 senior. Every one of us found something for its own taste and everyone was satisfied with their meal. Service was fast and waiters were pleasant. It was a bit crowded, but it is understandable due to the location.

Good food, excellent presentation & quick service, located at central place. Ambience is ok, generally crowded place.

Went twice this trip. Lovely Petrossian smoked salmon plate first trip, burrata and tomato salad second visit - they peeled the tomatoes! Attention to detail. Fantastic atmosphere, it's right near the Palais Royal. Very charming waiters. I always eat inside because I don't like the smoke. It is roomy, not noisy, relaxing and reliable. Would not hesitate to go back every time I'm in Paris.

so,me and my friends weren't very hungry that day,so we decided to order the "menù for kids" cuz' we expected something small while the others ordered some water (we had a lot of sodas during our trip so we wanted to go light)... but when we told the waiter (a red-headed guy) our orders he laughed at us,then when they broght us our orders,my friend notices that they gave her fried potatoes and not mashed potatoes, so we asked the waitress to return the friend potatoes but she just rolled her eyes and raised her eyebrows at us... then when she came back with the mashed potatoes she told us to keep the fried ones but as i told you:we weren't very hungry!!! so we tried to refuse, until the she tells us:"take it! IT'S FREE"...when they gave us the receipt we realized that they didn't made us pay for the indoor table, the water(wich is very expensive in france about 3€) and the fried potatoes... soo :they thought that we were poor and that we couldn't afford to pay and it's not really nice to be judged... btw the food was average nothing special.

Margaret and I called into this restaurant this afternoon for a late lunch

We both thoroughly enjoyed a traditional confit duck with new potatoes

This venue is a traditional French bistro with interior and outside seating

Really very good
