When my wife told me we were going to The Louvre i was very excited, this continued until we arrived to the museum. Unfortunately we didn’t had much time to explore this magnificent place. The little i was able see was outstanding. So if you plan to visit this museum at least reserve a day for this, you will need it.

The art was great and probably would have been better if I would have done audio tour to know what I was looking at. Main reason for me to go was the Mona Lisa which is so much smaller in person but great to see. The museum is like a huge mall with stores and restaurants attached. Even connected to the subway. Must stop in Paris.

Honestly, I am not a art person, thus cannot say that I enjoyed it that much. Therefore 3 hours were more than enough for me.However, it is must visit place in Paris, since Louvre illustrates spirit of the city. Here some tips for you:
- book tickets online(you can show them in your smartphone)
- use other entrances than pyramid(usually it is very crowded in pyramid and almost no one in other entrances)
- do not expect to see all paintings, choose the ones beforehand
- do not expect to see Mona Lisa from close distance
- take some snacks and water with you

One of the world's greatest art museums - arguably the greatest - and a don't miss attraction for Paris. Extraordinary depth of collections, housed in an extraordinary building. Navigation can be difficult at times, although it's a wonderful place to get lost in, as that will reveal all sorts of treasures that you didn't expect. Buy tickets online to reduce queues and plan to spend the day here.

Spent 4 hours exploring only one wing of the museum. I would return in a minute. The works are beautiful and trace history. Highly suggest having a guide to help touch the "do not miss" pieces
Very highly recommended

There’s really no way to describe other than incredible. From Ancient Egyptian papyrus to Greek and Italian Masters. Extremely reasonable pricing. Get your tickets online and you have virtually no line. The room where the Mona Lisa is kept is a bit cramped because there’s so many people who go in there. And while the painting is fabulous, make sure you don’t miss the masterpieces of Rafael and Caravaggio that are hanging on the right hand wall as you approach the Mona Lisa room. Don’t miss the Michelangelo statue and the Athena Nike. True art lovers and students could spend DAYS in there!

Was an experience that you cant pass up!!! Was on my bucket list to do before I die and was so worth it. It is massive so be prepared to spend the entire day. I brought my lunch and sat outside on a bench and just took in the lovely day, while I ate my wonderful french baguette with cheese and salami, and fed the birds.

The museum is the 2nd largest in the world. Buy tickets on line or go with a tour and skip the line. The most famous pieces are crowded. Estimate to be there all day. The restaurant was also very good. Great day in Paris.
