We visited during the day- I wish we went back to see it at night! During the day it was amazing. Breathtaking and even with all the people, we were still able to get some really great pictures in!

I am not much of a museum person, and I confirmed that when I saw the line. It was expected so I settled for just walking by. Still a beautiful place to visit, regretting not taking the time to tour.

Plan on being here all day. You can see history from 3000 BC to current. Too much to tell you. Some of the art is haunting, and you will stand in front of it for a very long time. Other art, not so much. There is something here for everyone. The place is huge.

A wonderful museum with well thought out exhibits.

The downside is the room where the Mona Lisa is - could be better organised and was far too hot with the bundle of bodies.

Lots to see and do - far more then a single visit.

Certainly on a par with the British Museum, which is exceptional.
