Found this place after searching a few food blogs, was not disappointed! Traditional patisserie (ignore the outside appearance, they just renovated) with great food! Very handy that it opens on Sundays and early morning for something to eat before adventures

The broccoli quiche was very good. The pastry was pricier than elsewhere but worth it. Friendly service. (Is this 100 characters yet for trip advisor?)

We went into Stohrer especially after seeing recipes in a Patissierie book that was about 20 years old, loved the look of the women in the picture on the glass inside the shop, the picture was seemed to show the shop as being quite large, but it is small and quaint, we had a pastry and a savoury roll, both were delicious and fresh, they had a lot to choose from and spoke English, well worth a visit, as it is one of the oldest stores around.

This very old diamond is located on the (STEET) Rue Montorgueil in the 2nd Arrondissement, in Paris that would be easily called a major foodie street! The shop Stohrer according to the guides is one of the Great Patisserie Shops in Paris, not only visually & loaded with special items not seen before! The guides also say that Stohrer one of the city's oldest bakeries in Paris.

We decided to buy some snacks for later to eat at the hotel which was not cheap but the pate's was very good along with shrimps, cheese and bread.
