Amorino has the best ice cream in Paris. Check out the location on Ile Saint-Louis and enjoy. C’est terrific!

We once had an apartment across the street from the big church and loved living here, but that was a different time when the island still felt like a village. This street is quite picturesque and a fun place to stroll. But this area is completely given over to tourism and the pursuit of ice cream.

We stayed here for two nights at the tail end of our trip... probably one of the best stays we had. The location was central... steps from Notre Dame, two Batobus stops (Hotel de Ville, and Notre Dame), parking, shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes... if you can stay on the island... do it.

This is the main street on the Ile Saint Louis next to the Ile de la Cite in the centre of Paris. The street has some nice shops on this quieter tourist location. Still a great place to come for a browse.

I bought dozens of small gifts here, and the clerks were ever so pleasant and cheerfully gift-wrapped all of them for free. The sense of whimsy in the design of the products makes shopping here a pleasure!
