Initially I wasn’t thrilled about booking this chain hotel for our 1st visit to Paris. After a couple weeks of researching, this place checked the boxes for location, price, and positive reviews. Now don’t think this place is cheap, but compared to other places it’s reasonably priced, lol. The location is great...good for walking to all the sights (which we did). Close to a couple metro stops as well.
The lobby has nice appeal. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean. The sofa bed could use a better mattress (what else is new though, lol). Just a heads up for those with kiddos (or staying with people that aren’t your significant others), the shower has that frosted glass that if you stand too close to it, you can see everything. It also has a switch that can turn the frost off/on. You can make it work without showing everything, just be aware, lol.
There’s plenty of space to unpack. Room includes a safe and nespresso machine. It also has a mini-fridge/bar, but we would’ve preferred being able to use the fridge for our own beverages (it was hot outside). There is a restaurant in the hotel and several places in the area (we didn’t visit so I can’t comment on those). I would recommend this hotel and will likely stay again on our next trip to Paris.
