“just pretty close to the Zenith”
Reviewed 24 May 2012

the room was very small, bathroom not that clean. just one towel per person for shower and face.
I'd recommend it only if you want to stay close to the Zenith because it's 5 minutes away.
Metro station is pretty close as well, if you are coming from the aiport call them to get a taxi, they have convenient fares, 17Euro rather than 40 or so that a taxi would charge you.

Have recently spent 5 nights in this Ibis with my wife. We have requested a room with view to the canal and a large bed. We got a room on the 6th floor with awesome view to the canal and the area, and the bed was queen sized and of very good quality. (looked new!) The room was nice, featured a LCD tv, and a small sized bathroom with shower. We had good sleeps as the room was not noisy at all, this is a very good buy if you are on a budget. Staff was VERY helpful. The area is also nice, you can find lots of eateries, mini markets, etc. I recommend this one, when next in Paris we will come back for sure :)

Room Tip: Try to get a room on floor 6,7,8 for good views

The hotel follows Ibis international standards, room was clean but incredibly small and noisy, we took one of the back rooms and I couldn't sleep very well because I heard people working, carrying stuff, moving things in a very weird and dark street, so, avoid back rooms! And yes, they are very small like any other hotel room in Paris and they have no air conditioner, felt like I was in hell some nights. I tried to change rooms but the hotel was full... they have a nice (and cheap) restaurant, front desk people were very friendly and the hotel is too far from the subway station, about a 15min walk, but I've walked every night, late at night, neighborhood was okay, not very creepy, some bars and supermarkets around it. Parc de la Villete is right in front of it but it's worthless with so many things to do and see in Paris... I would recommend the hotel, it's a good deal in expensive Paris.

Room Tip: Get the front rooms, avoid the back rooms, they're extremely noisy.

Just spent three nights at this hotel. Wished I hadn't! The room was spotlessly clean but so small it was impossible for two of us to move around at the same time. "Compact" is the understatement. The bed consisted of a mattress laid on a board. The bathroom was so small you had to sit on the toilet sideways because there was little room for your legs. It also smelt badly of damp, we had to leave the window open all day to air it. The worst aspect of all was the number of students staying there and the chaos they caused. Numerous school coach parties came and went during our stay. At midnight and into the early hours of the morning the students were skateboarding up and down the corridors, banging every door they could find, drumming on the walls and generally creating such a disturbance that noone could sleep. Guests from our party rang security 4 times and still nothing was done about it. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again if you paid me. I wouldn't advise anyone else to do so either.

Room Tip: Don't bother, until such time as the student groups cease to stay here, you're better off pa...
