The perfect Paris experience, a charming hotel in a charming area rich with cafes, bakeries, winding streets. An easy walk to many museums and sights. Breakfast costs extra but wonderful bakery right across the street.

Room Tip: Even though my room faced the street it was quiet.

We stayed at the Hotel Left Bank in April and had a relatively enjoyable stay. The location worked especially for seeing sites as we were easily able to walk to places like the Notre Dame and the Louvre with places like the Musee d'Orsay being about a half hour walk away. The street itself probably isn't the prettiest one in Paris and was still busy at night but given the price of this hotel and its central location that could be easily overlooked. In terms of the surrounding area, there were abundant cafes and shops to explore, the metro was very close and convenient and Luxembourg park was close enough as well to go for strolls in the morning which was nice.

With respect to the hotel, the service was fantastic. Everyone from the housekeepers to the woman who served breakfast were fantastic and the people working at the front desk were very helpful in aiding us with our excursions. The suite we stayed in on the top floor had amazing views and was very charming although maybe not as modern as some would like. Specifically in the bathroom we noticed the hairdryer did not work particularly well and we found that the bath products were sub-par, not a big deal. Additionally, I would reccomend skipping on the inclusive breakfast as it was very basic and you could probably find better around the area in the morning or just go across the street to Kayser bakery to eat after you wake up.

Overall we had a great 5 night stay at this hotel and although we would probably want to try a different hotel on our next visit to Paris, we would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the left bank.

Loved this hotel, middle of everything, walk all over the 6th. Fun cafes, great shopping all within walking. Breakfast is good, especially if you’re in a hurry, some can shower while others eat etc. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Left Bank St. Germain. Not only was it literally 1 block away from the line 4 on the metro, it was right next to so many tasty restaurants. The beds were super comfy and provided a great nights rest. Thank you, will be back again!

Everything about Hotel Left Bank is wonderful! The location is perfect and its the cutest, tiniest hotel we've every stayed in - the lobby, lift, hallway and room were just perfect for our April in Paris experience.

We enjoyed apero one evening in the hotel lobby (with our own bottle of wine, cheese and crackers) and it was a highlight of our short visit. And the hotel staff provided great service - from recommending how we should get to the airport, to a quick yummy room service breakfast, to mailing our power adapter that we left in our room back to the United States. They went above and beyond!

We would definitely return. Highly recommend!
