The hotel is in an excellent location, the staff is really helpful, do not hesitate to ask for the information at the reception desk and the rooms are nice and comfortable. You are in the central Paris, close to Galerie Lafayette store and a lot of shops. I can recommend it for a stay with friends or with family. I am going to return for sure :)

we book this hotel online with barganing price, i like this hotel hip though little small, decorated lobby, friendly staffs provide the service exactly what we needed, they shown us the best sightseeing points of Paris as it was the frist time we travelling France, Rooms are neat and tidy, cozy but modern, just little bit small and too close to the neighbours. Breakfast are good just not much varity, Overall, i will recommend this hotel to my friends.

Room Tip: rooms away from exit or lift

Upon arrival in Paris on an October evening as a single female traveller, I was told that the hotel had sold my room and they had no more available. Sorry.

They claimed that they tried to contact me, but there is noting wrong with my phone or my email. I arrived at 7.30pm so it's not even as if they thought I wasn't arriving.

Beware, your reservation doesn't mean anything.

The chap on reception, who was not to blame by all accounts, did manage to find me a room at a sister hotel but it's not where I needed to be for this trip.

Reception was friendly and really helpful with directions and bookings. Breakfast was really good and by the time we left our host knew our requests without asking! Rooms were clean and had adequate space. Walls were thin and conversations from next door fully audible. The lift was small and clunky. The location was brilliant walked to everywhere with very close access to underground trains.

We stayed here for four days to take in Quatorze Juillet. I was surprised to read (just now) the poor reviews on this site because our experience was nothing but good. We were fortunate in being given a room for three (king size bed plus single) and therefore had larger accommodation than we might have expected. For the first time in Paris, the spare coathangers I'd taken weren't needed because there was ample supply in the room. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and a good size. The standard of service overall was very high - the reception staff very friendly and helpful, especially when my husband was unfortunate enough to have his credit cards 'removed' on the metro, and the restaurant staff cheerful and efficient. The breakfast was sumptuous by Paris standards and you shouldn't need to eat again until evening! When you do, the cafe opposite (Moulin something or other) does a very good three, freshly cooked courses for €15.90. We will definitely try to stay at the Caumartin on our next visit.

Room Tip: We had room 40, at the back of the hotel and very quiet. But it does sleep three.

This conveniently located hotel suited our needs admirably. We spent three nights there in mid April and were impressed by the cheerful and helpful desk staff. Our room (21) overlooked Rue Caumartin which is a narrow but vibrant street with several wonderful cafes and restaurants. Many of the attractions that Paris has to offer are a short walking distance from the hotel. If you want air-conditioning stay there after April 15, because that is when company policy allows it to be switched on. The day we arrived was quite warm, and upon enquiring about the air conditioner I was told to open the (screenless) window. On the whole, though, the staff were congenial and did their best to make our stay a memorable one for the right reasons.

Room Tip: Rooms facing Rue Caumartin for Parisian flavour.

Stayed here twice - its an ok hotel. The location is the main thing and the rate which is good if you go to Otel.com You wouldn't call it a luxury hotel but its fine if you're looking for a base to explore Paris and didn't intend spending too much time in the room during the day. Breakfast was fine - usual continetal style. Very nice Indian redtaurnat if you
turn left and cross the street. 3 stars is about right. Wifi is crap hardly available in any room
