“Great location, cozy rooms, friendly service.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2012

The location is simply perfect, walking distance to all main attractions. Our room was very nice, with beautiful decor, decent size bathroom (for Paris) and comfortable bed. We only stayed there for a few days, each time we were greeted with a smile. The only negative I can mention is that concierge sent us to a horrible restaurant ( Le Taste Monde), which just solidified my opinion of never listening to concierges in Paris.

Everybody in this hotel, guests and staff had smiles on thier faces, Nothing bad to say.
If you value your time and work hard for your holidays be good to yourself and book this amazing hotel.
Location , facilities and hospitality by far the best 4 * i have stayed at, spotlessly clean and spacious which for paris is rare.
found on expedier.com was £650 for 3 nights for junior suite, where the rack rates for this room are £550 per night, this must be a the bargain..

I would definitely stay here again. The room was spacious, decorated as in the photo, which is much prettier in person. Originally booked the superior, but last minute we upgraded to deluxe (was night of our wedding). Included a tea kettle, a split of champagne, and chocolates. The little balcony was a nice plus even though we couldn't sit on it, it was quite lovely overall! We were permitted a one hour delay in our check out. The hotel bar was very luxurious feeling. The barman was very accomodating, a simple coffee order was accompanied by beautiful service pieces, chocolates, and fresh fruit. wish we didn't sleep so late so we could have enjoyed the room and hotel more! The street is quiet, very close to great locations. Stop at Madeline 7 cafe ( beautiful, very good food)!

Room Tip: stayed on 4th floor, facing the rue

A quiet oasis in the hubbub of central Paris with a knowledgeable and courteous staff, clean and nicely decorated rooms and a properly French ambience. Easy to get everywhere via walking, Metro or taxi. We booked inclusive of Eurostar so it was a real bargain for the quality of everything. We didn't eat in the hotel although the restaurant looked to be not bad value compared with other places we visited. Our only quibble was that the room was a bit overheated but maybe that's coming from women "d'un age certain" ?!
The bar is expensive but smart and, again, good service. I would thoroughly recommend this place.

Room Tip: You can see the top of the Eiffel Tower from the top floor rooms if that is your idea of a true Pari...

A quaint hotel on a quiet street that was totally adequate but nothing too fancy. We had a very typical view of the rooftops of Paris as we were on the 5th floor and I am sure I have seen a similar view in a painting somewhere in my travels. The property is tucked away and a little hard to find at first but as it turned out not a bad location once one got oriented. Our room was small and could soon use some refurbishing as it looked to be well used but it did have charm, and passed the travel weary(and frigid) critique of my faithful companion Madame Sherry! The weather was a little cool for her tastes in January but the bed was comfortable and the room warm and clean. It looked as though the hotel had a fairly strong following of repeat guests which is a very good sign and I suppose it offers good value for its location. The restaurant was magnifique and they had a hearty breakfast buffet to get you started. All in all a good choice though next time we will stay near the Latin quarter a little closer to the action!!

Room Tip: Ask for a recently renovated room if available

Great location, very quiet but still only a 10 minutes' walk from the Champs Elysees and 5 minutes from the Mironmesnil, Saint Augustin or Madeleine metros - very easy to get to all the main sight-seeing places from the hotel ~ we walked to most places.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful - concierge, reception, restaurant, maids. Our ("superior") room seemed a little small at first, but it was very comfortably furnished and decorated, and was kept immaculately clean during our stay.
The breakfasts are all you could want to start the day - cereals, fruit juices, yoghurts, fresh and dried fruit, fruit salad, a wide selection of bread, rolls, pastries, etc. A hot choice can be made from bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and there is a cold table of various cooked meats and cheeses. The dining room staff were exceptionally attentive to detail and ensured we could have all we wanted to eat. We also ate 2 evening dinners (one on Valentine's night) in the hotel and the food then was second to none for quality and presentation. Overall, we thought the food was exceptionally good.
The gym is a little small with a few machines, but quite honestly, if you want exercise do what the Parisiens do and go out for a run on the Champs Elysees or in the Tuileries Gardens - both just a 5 minute jog from the hotel.
There are some bars and restaurants nearby, but you have to walk out further to get a greater selection.
We feel as if we have stayed in a very traditional Parisien hotel that went out of its way to make our experience of the city very comfortable and enjoyable. We would definitely return there ourselves and recommend it to our friends.

Room Tip: We specifically asked for a non-smoking room, and were allocated a room on the 7th floor, which is a...
