“Nice boutique hotel”
Reviewed 8 May 2012

Not so conveniently located if you don’t like walking to the next metro station for 10 minutes.
The rest is all good, it’s a beautiful boutique hotel with friendly staff, rooms are tastefully decorated and it’s very clean, bathrooms are modern.
The rooms are very small, but this is to be expected in Paris. Breakfast is good, beds are comfy and rooms are not noisy at all.
I stayed there because I had to be in the area for business, to visit Paris I would choose a hotel in a more convenient location.

For a one night stay we chose the smallest rooms, fine for children but a little tight for adults. I did peek into a larger room down the hall and that seemed comfortable, I would go larger for longer stay. There is an elevator which has room for one person or suitcase but not both. Stair access is from Victor Hugo side, this is not a hotel for someone with an impairment. Hotel staff very helpful. Our rooms faced side but very noisy due to large, loud party with open windows in an apartment immediately across the courtyard.

Room Tip: chose a larger room for longer stay.

...this is a boutique hotel after all. make sure you request an inside room, ie. one not facing the street as the traffic on Victor Hugo gets a bit noisy in the morning. location is very convenient to both business and leisure, staff is helpful and prepared - price is a tad steep, but hey, this is Paris.

Nice rooms, good service and excellent location at a fair price. Highly recommend it. Only drawback is that you have to climb steep stairs from Victor Hugo Avenue, so if you have mobility restrictions this hotel is not for you.

Location - A good location and we managed to walk to alot of the attractions we wanted to visit.

Room 202 - Nicely decorated, but a small room for a couple (cramped).
I would not recommend this to anyone (single/couple) who are considered the more larger person. It will be very tight moving around.

Bathroom - Again small, but the reall annoyance was the shower. If you touch/knock the shower door even very slightly it would be enough for the water to escape and thus leaving the bathroom floor with water. For those thinking, well don't touch the door, will need to see the shower cubicle space (it's very tight)

Staff - Couldn't fault the front office staff. They provided the assistance and answers to our enquiries (as and when we had them).

Room Tip: Room 202 - Very small/cramped (not ideal for the larger person(s))

Don't expect a smile or any extra effort from the staff there.
The walls are very thin, so I could not sleep because of the other guests' noise.
There were stains on the curtains and the shower leaks so that the whole bathroom was flooded.

Breakfast at 15 Euro is a joke.

Not going back.
