We have stayed there for 3 nights with our infant. The rooms are newly renovated and its clean. Location of the hotel is not near to any attractions but there are 2 metro nearby Cadet and Grand Boulevard which makes it easy to access to the attraction points. Special compliment to Davide who is always helpful and friendly. If ever I going Paris again I will stay back at the same place.

Thank you for your great comment ! We really appreciate your positive feedback, which are motivational. We are close to Montmartre, Department Stores, and the Opera Garnier. Close to the line 7, 8 and 9 to get around Paris. David was delighted to read your opinions. We hope to welcome you again soon for your next trip in Paris.

We stayed for 2 nights in a renovated room on 27/28th March. Rooms were clean & nicely decorated, a reasonable size and provided a good level of comfort with a good shower, though we weren't that keen on square pillows but that is a personal choice. A kettle and tea/coffee etc would be really useful. We enjoyed being able to open the big windows (we had great weather!) and listen to the hustle and bustle even though it was a bit noisy. We were on the 1st floor. There is however, excellent double glazing and an air con unit - though we didnt turn it on. Breakfast was limited but filled a gap - not many hotels offer as part of the room deal. Easy 10-15 mins walk from Gare du Nord. Good location - very close to Metro, supermarkets, pharmacy and lots of decent priced places to eat. Hotel willingly stored our luggage securely on our early arrival day and on the day we left as we had a late Eurostar. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. If we had anything to complain about it would be that we had booked two rooms and our friends ended up on 5th floor, but then we hadnt specifically asked if they could be a bit closer - a small point. We enjoyed "Hugo" in Rue Papillon very much - they have a website. We reserved a table and pleased we did as it was busy.

Charming! Renovated little gem in sweet neighborhood. Incredibly helpful staff. Throw open the windows and take in the Parisian air! Find the lovely chocolate shop a few streets over and wander all over the city from this little spot.
Traveled with a friend on our 1st European vacation. After a disaster of a hotel in London (Garden View) and a great but Americanized hotel in Prague, I was happy to have this quaint experience in Paris! Say yes!

I was at Hotel Pax Opera for 2 nights with my partner, and we both thought that the room was wonderful. We were allocated Room 56, which was on the top floor. It was nice and quiet, decorated with brightly coloured sheets and curtains, had a nice new wardrobe, and sparkling clean bathtub/shower. It was complete with a large TV and a sofabed on the side. True, rooms in Paris don't tend to come large, but we had more than enough space for everything we needed. The lift, however, was quite small so we took the stairs 5 floors up most of the time. Located just 10 minutes walk away from Gare Du Nord, and a stone's throw away from the nearest Metro station (Cadet), it was fairly convenient to around the city. There are also a number of restaurants nearby, plus a couple of grocery stores, so we were never short on necessities. The hotel's breakfast was adequate, plentiful supply of toast, croissants, cereal and coffee. Fruit and yogurt would have been much appreciated, but then again it wasn't a necessity. Wifi was a bit jumpy at times, depending on where you were in the hotel. The staff were generally attentive and courteous, most of them fluent in English I believe, which was a plus. All patrons are asked to drop their keys off before leaving the hotel for the day, but there is no identity check when we pick up our keys. So to improve the security of our belongings, I would like to suggest the possibility of instituting an identity check before we pick up our room keys. Overall, I had a very good time at this hotel, and will definitely book again when visiting paris in the future.

Have recently got back from a 3 night stay here with my girlfriend and we both very much enjoyed it.
Hotel staff were all polite and friendly, we arrived about 8pm and were given information about some good local places to eat.
About a 10minute walk from Gare du Nord the hotel was very easy to find.
Rooms werev cleaned and tidied every day.
All in all the stay here helped us enjoy a memorable trip.

The hotel is in a great location in Paris, it was easy to find (once you figured out the streets of Paris). We had a clean room, its small, comfortable and well equipped. The room was cleaned everyday. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A map of Paris was given to us as we arrived and directions to all the main attractions in Paris. The breakfast was ok, thats bias on my part nothing better than egg, bacon, tomatoes in the morning. Overall it was a great experience in this hotel and I would book a room again in a heart beat!!!

Indeed, they help us to improve the quality of service, and allow us to see our customers' expectations.
Our hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the station Cadet Line 7. We are 15 minutes from Montmartre and Gare du Nord and 10 minutes from Grands Magasins "Galeries Lafayettes-Printemps". The reception team is available to counsel and advise on tourist attractions of the city. Finally, our breakfast is offered to our customers, and hope they let you start the day. We hope to see you soon among us.

I stayed here on my first trip to Paris 3 nights from 27th January 2012. Staff very friendly. corridors are very narrow - rooms small but adequate. bathroom very small took some maneouvring to get into the shower. Wouldnt like to see a big person try get into it - we were in room 58. the hotel website said they had just renovated all the room. Well I think they missed ours cause we didnt have all those lovely bright colours. In fact our room was very drab with the curtain not hanging correctly. but apart from that the bed was comfortable and the room was warm and sound proof. Its in a nice quite area of paris but sill near enough to all the sites by walking, the red bus, metro etc. I must suggest you go to Hugo restaurant in rue papillion - its a treasure of a restaurant and the waiter so nice and food good and reasonable too.

Room Tip: Ask for a room which is renovated!
