“Loved this place. Location Location Location.”

We stayed here in April 2016 and fell in love with it. It is amazing and the location is perfect. Just up the end of the street is the Seine and Notre Dame and the other end of the street is Boulevard Saint Germain. Anne is so nice and helpful and has so much local knowledge. It was like a home away from home. We had two bedrooms for the 4 of us which also included a kitchen and bathroom. It is located in a very very safe area. We had no problems or fears of walking around late at night from the many many nearby restaurants. We had an 84 year old Uncle in our group and he had no issues with this property. There is a laundromat and supermarket nearby too which was a godsend after travelling for a few weeks. Everything around this area is fantastic. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in Paris. Loved it. Thank you Anne.

“Ideal location”

Mom and I stayed here for a December visit to the Christmas markets. Wonderful location, right off St. Germaine, 1/2 mile to Notre Dame. Anne was a wonderful hostess... available when we wanted her, but left us alone when we didn't. Gave great suggestions on restaurants (go to Gladines just down the street). Super close to the metro. At the end of the street, one right next to the other, is a green grocer, a fish shop, a cheese shop, a bakery, and a butcher. Just around the corner was a pastry shop where it was fun to watch them make the beautiful pastries daily. Pool and sauna and baby gym in the basement. Anne made us breakfast one morning, absolutely wonderful spread of truffled scrambled eggs, fruits, pastries, meats, cheeses. Room was big, floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the narrow street, small fridge and stove top. Lots of DVD's, books, CD's to share if you want.

“Paris Gem”

This is a complicated review because Maison d’Anne is a complicated place... I am not sure how to classify it really. Somewhere between a B and B and guest apartments.

Firstly the apartment. This is a very large and rambling house that has been divided up into guest rooms, each with some small facility for food prep and a bathroom. The owner and her family live in the upstairs rooms. Some may not like the ad hoc nature of the accommodation - we found it charming and quaint. All amenities where good.

The wifi was a bit dodgy, probably all those very thick walls - we often had to go into the common areas to get a decent commotion.

We were greeted and given tour of the rooms and facilities by Anne’s niece who was fantastic. We felt very welcomed into their very personal B and B. Throughout the stay everyone was extremely helpful with good food advise, helped us get a doctor to call out and made our Paris stay as good as could be.

The apartment is really well located in St Germain - a stones throw from Notre Dame and walking into the city or taking the Metro was easy. There are several local small grocery stores and a weekend market with excellent produce.

We found the experience very good value for money.

Highly recommended for those who like a bit of a rambling quaint experience - we certainly did. Anne and her family are great hosts, if we go back to Paris we will certainly stay there again.

The images on Trip Advisor tell the story about the house eloquently.

“Excellent Stay - Highly Recommended”

I had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious and historical BnB after hearing great things from friends. Let me say this: words could not accurately describe the atmosphere and comfort that this BnB provides. The family members of whom were very personable and accommodating, this booking is right in the middle of Paris with a short 5 minute walk away from the Notre Dame. Being centrally located to major transit lines, travelling the city was quick and easy.

As for the accommodations, everything was top notch. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were extremely clean. Each room also had it's own kitchenette should you choose to use and cook meals. But the creme de la creme was the pool/jacuzzi/sauna located in the grotto which were used frequently and was a great way to end a whole day of putting miles on your legs discovering Paris.

All in all this was a five star experience and would definitely recommend to anyone I know travelling to the city in the future.

Centrally located and absolutely breathtaking residence. We couldn't have been happier with our stay and felt like family. The house is spacious with many amenities and the host family is more than accommodating. When I come back to Paris, this will absolutely be where I stay!!

“Charm and authenticity in the heart of Paris”

WOW! We were truly captivated from the moment we arrived. Originally built in the 15th century, the bed and breakfast is surrounded by centuries of history in the heart of the Latin Quarter.

Steps from the Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, and walking distance to many other major attractions in Paris, the location could not be better for sightseeing, eating and transportation (METRO and cab stands).

After full days of sightseeing, the indoor pool and sauna were a perfect way to relax and recharge.

The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and clean, conveying the feeling of a home away from home.

The hosts (Anne and Jean-Louis) were very accommodating. Our experience exceeded our expectations.

We would recommend this to anyone traveling to Paris looking to make their trip that much better.

“A Beautiful, Unique Home in a Great Location”

We spent 3 nights at Maison d'Anne, a beautiful 17th-century home located minutes away from Notre Dame. Our room (4 of us split it) was spacious, clean and full of great amenities. The house also has a great pool, sauna, and common spaces to relax in. Anne and her family were very welcoming and gave us fantastic recommendations for nearby restaurants and sites that are off the beaten path (i.e., not tourist traps). We all felt very safe, comfortable and welcome and would recommend the house to anyone.
