We hired Christophe to take my husband and I and our mothers (75 & 72) around Paris. Our mothers have mobility issues and use of the Metro had to be limited. Christophe didn a wonderful job making sure we saw what we wanted and that we got some memorable pictures. He attended well to the group's specialized needs and was wonderful to spend time with. It was just like visiting a friend in Paris that knows all the secrets! Fabulous time had by all!

We went with Christophe for more than 8 hours around Paris. We had our 80-year-old Grandma with us and he organized everything for us. Also, a Wheelchair in Louvre. Especially in Louvre his enthusiasm for art and history electrified even our 16year old son. Dry history packed in fascinating stories. His Knowledge is inexhaustible.
When we thought about to rent a wheelchair for granny for the rest of the days he organized everything for us. The best, competently and helpfullest guide we ever had!

We booked with Christophe for 2 1/2 days of our week long trip May 2018. Full days at Versailles and Loire Valley, plus 1/2 day in Giverney at Monets gardens. We had off days in between trips which we highly recommmend as there is so much packed into a trip with Christophe. His knowledge and enthusiasm about Sharing what he knows about France is unmatched. Go to Paris and book a trip with Christophe, you will be so glad you did!

My wife and I came to Paris this year for the first time, very exciting and a bit scary too. We had a number of days in the city but wasn't sure what we could and should see so we decided to hire a guide for two days, we found Christophe and after reading the reviews and his follow up to each of our emails we booked one day for inside the city and the other outside at Fontainebleau, Barbizon and Vaux le Vicomte.

Our first day together Christophe picked us up at the hotel and I think within the hour we were standing front row center at the Mona Lisa listening to Christopher explain the art, it's history and significance to the period as well as the hearts of the Parisian's. We then turned to another painting in the same room and found that our experience was not to just see one of the three jewels of the Louvre (which we did) but also learn more about the history and art of Paris. That day we saw many sites at the Louvre plus traveled to Sainte Chapelle and Montmartre again seeing beautiful pieces of art and culture, my wife and I were not only being shown Paris but we were now talking about it too.

Our second day together we traveled outside the city and found experiences we would have never found without Christophe. We saw Castles without crowds, we saw Chateau's so large and beautiful they infuriated the King (not a wise move) and saw the town of Moret sur Loing where the famous Barbizon school existed. We walked around the house where the early impressionist painters lived and worked off their bills by painting on the walls and furniture to earn their stay, this may be the highlight of our time in France.

On each of our trips and visit's Christophe was able to provide great insight to what we were seeing in relation to the art itself and the time when it was being made. We learned about the Kings and Emperors and when we came upon something to discuss the context of what was happening or who was in charge helped us to understand each piece in context. I do want to stress that these were conversations and not lectures, we did NOT feel as if we were walking around listening to a set of headphones, rather experiencing the days together with Christophe's help.

We treasured our trip to France and feel very fortunate that we had found he as a guide. I hope you have the opportunity to come to France one day and highly recommend spending time with Christophe while you are there.

Christophe was fabulous getting us into all of the crowded sights we wanted to see! He really helped us maximize our time. We saw Sainte Chapelle, the Louvre, Napoloean's tomb, Versailles and SO much more! He was even flexible in stopping off at Roland Garros for the tennis fans in our family for a quick picture. He was especially great in keeping the kids interested with the history of all the sights. I would not hesitate to hire him again!
