This was my second visit to this hotel. It has recently been completely redecorated to a nice standard with flat screen Tvs.Free breakfast included, very pleasant & helpful staff. The location is ideal for the Pigalle,Moulin Rouge & the Sacre' Coeur. Also close to Metro lines. You couldn't ask for more.I have stayed in 3 star Hotels which aren't up to this standard, hope to stay there many more times.

This is a great budget hotel in a city thats very expensive. As long as you go to this hotel prepared that its a budget hotel you won't be disappointed. We got a great price for 4 nights there and the location was great, its Paris, you don't need anything more than a bed and a bathroom as you should be spending your time out and about. And this hotel was fine, and quirky, yeah the floor wasn't straight, yeah the room was basic but I wasn't expecting the HIlton.

We booked this hotel as it was a great location and the price was cheap. We expected a decent but small room with its own toilet / shower. Instead we arrived to find out we were "Upgraded" to the Suite. At first this seemed like a plesant suprise until they told us the suite was located in another neighbourhood.

The room was better than expected, but again we booked soley based on the location and this new location was about a 30 minute walk from the hotel. At first we were thrilled to be located so close to Sacre Cour but then it turned out to be quite a hassle as the nearest metro station is a 15 minute walk and an extra metro ticket each way through the funicular (for those who cant manage the 10 flights of stairs down the hill). We did find that there was lots to see and do in the new area but again we were dissapointed in the unexpected additional costs of getting to and from the metro (The original hotel rooms are a 2 minute walk).

The service at the hotel was unacceptable when 5 days into the trip we realized that no one was going to come supply clean linens / additional toiletries. Call after call warranted a response of "We will send someone tomorrow" and no one ever came 3 days in a row. Eventually they stopped speaking with us and when asked about fresh sheets and clean towels they hung up on us. We call our travel provider to get them involved and when they contacted the hotel their staff members came by and made the bed and took out the trash. No new towels, No additional toilet paper. No new soap. No fresh sheets.

The response we got was "Come pick them up yourselves" which wouldnt be so bad if it wasnt a 30 minute walk or a 10 euro metro trip to go get. It wouldnt have been an issue if we were in the hotel as I am more than capable of going to a front desk to pick up my own stuff if need be. The end result was we had to buy our own toiletries and launder our own linens. Had we known in advance of the change of location we could have packed appropriately and none of this woudl have been an issue, but because of the no advanced notice and the lack of ANY willingnes to help / comprimise on the hotels part, I would say 2 Stars out of 5.

Room Tip: Check well in advance to see if you will get your room. If you get "Upgraded" to the suite...

The hotel is in good location. It is close to many metro stations. The hotel is not in good shape, the paint is pealing from walls and roof. The room was quiet.

we stayed 3 nights.Location and the service was excellent.the staff was very friendly and Thomas,in front deck speak very good english and friendly.room was very small in comparison to USA &Canadian motels and hotels..Bed was damp, but clean.sheets, towels was changed and room cleaned every day.Breakfast was small, but good enough with the good coffee.you could hear noise from the street& hall ways, but we were so tired from lots of walking, so I plugged my ears with ear plug and had good sleep.I would stay again in this hotel due to location and the price.

We stay 4 nights in november 2011 when is outside the tourist seson and maybe for these reason it was cheap ( about 220 euro for 4 nights). The hotel is near to 2 metro station :Clichy and Pigalle, and in the neighborhood is manny place to eat.The hotel is very simple, the room it was small, clean and almost quiet. The staff it was verry nice. The breakfast it was not enough for me and my husband, it was a french breakfast :croissant, horns, butter, jam, juice, coffee, tea. The location is not to good for family with children because is to close to "red zone" with manny sex shops and in the evening is too manny strange people (like black showing like bandits).Neighborhood (District Montamarte) is famous for its picturesque and bohemian life here and Sacre Coeur is not to far to Hotel (Sacre Coeur is wonderful in the evening light).
