The picture of the room on the internet was not what we actually got. No cot at the end of the bed, not apealing. No view. Very disappointed. Not what we expected for the money. We paid the same amount at the Regina hotel on August 3,2018. Villa de estrees was terrible in comparison. .

Thank you to the other Trip Advisor reviewers who advised to stay on top floor to avoid noise from Irish pub on the corner - this was a great tip and worked a treat for us. While the bathroom was small it was clean and had good pressure, only criticism was that there needed to be power points that accommodated international plugs in the bathroom.

Hotel was a really nice boutique style of accommodation and was well located at the front of the sixth arrondissement. It was close to the metro and major attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful with booking attractions, metro tickets, restaurants and train travel. They also recommended a fantastic airport transfer so if you need this we can also recommend that service. We didn't choose the breakfast included option and didn't need to - so many places to eat nearby.Room has a safe and we would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Get the room at the top on the fifth floor - double deluxe was good

Staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was excellent.

Breakfast was included in our package and as a suggestion possibly introducing a cooked breakfast would improve the overall stay.

Overall the hotel experience was excellent and the hotel nicely located close to major attractions and restaurants.

I’m very confused by the good reviews perhaps these are guests used to 2 star hotels? Our room was last updated I think during French Revolution. Show inoperable - smallest shower head and would not stay in place so had to hold during shower and the absolutely scary shower curtain. Air conditioning kind of worked odd smell in room.
We have stayed in possibly 20 hotels in Paris and this the worst hotel so far. 4 stars???No WayThis is a joke the bedding is not down very rough sheets and cheap bed no down pillows. Unbelievable! Look at the front desk a cheap table. Ok to be fair the good points : lots of storage, location , big windows and good square footage. Everything was just so run down, ripped wallpaper, awful awful shower (who likes a skanky shower curtain touching them) staff was pleasant. And no complimentary water in room. This hotel is way overrated such a disappointment for our last 2 nights after 4 weeks in Paris. We were in elevator with older couple and we all laughed at how awful the hotel is hope they write a review as well.

Room Tip: Room was awful bad smell cheap linens bad shower and bad odor

Already reviewed this amazing hotel but wanted to add one of their most helpful features: we were issued (free of charge) a smartphone to use for calls/internet/whatever for the duration. We used it for Google (range of services) and it was an invaluable resource. In addition, none of our own mobile data was used! Wow! What a brilliant idea and so very helpful.
