The bottom line is good value for the price.
I don't think it's a three-stars hotel, it's very simple, and quite basic. The rooms are quite old, and the maintenance is good, but not optimal.
The environment is not touristic, and it's far from the center of town (few stop by the Metro).
However, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is good.
For sub-100-euros, it's a fair choice.

I booked superior double room (as I wanted more comfort and a bathtub) - I got a room a little larger than usual room is in Paris (very, very small) with a out dated bathroom with only shower, small sink and toilet. Shower so small you can't turn in. Water was running depending on how many people in other rooms were in the shower at the same time, now cold, now hot. Towels were too small.
Heating in the room is only by air condition and that means you have a freezing bathroom. Very unpleasant.
Superior means a little more than just a size of the room, I believe. I am truly disappointed as the official photos are not near reality.
The staff was helpful when I needed to book airport shuttle and printing out some booked tickets. Nothing special, just normal level of help you expect from staff.
The area is quite and nice with pretty good connections (metro) to the main attractions but it is not close by. The ride to Arc de Triomph with line 6 takes about half an hour.
The price was too high for a room of that quality and comfort without breakfast.

the room was clean... this was the only good thing. the bed was very uncomfortable. the shower would not drain so if u take a shower u end up with water to your ankles. there was no toilet paper. the toilet barely flushed. and the list goes on

The attention given by the staff was marvelous especially the Chinese maid who always tried to comply and provide all our requests. Many thanks Hotel Coypel. This was a good stay in Europe. I recomend

The lovely receptionist was worth 5 stars alone - she went out of her way to help me, showing me the one remaining room to make sure I thought it was OK (it was!) and throwing in breakfast as part of the deal. I had a good room with a large bathroom. The bed was comfortable. You could hear the rumble of the metro and you could also hear conversation from the adjoining room but apart from that I thought it was a good and safe place to stay, not too far from la Gare d'Austerlitz and decent places to eat. The breakfast buffet was fine with a choice of breads, croissants, juices and coffee.
