we stayed here the first time a few years ago when we had nowhere booked and others were full, I knew it wasn't going to be anything special but god ...what a location, the room was quiet and clean just what you need when spending all day out and not too bothered about the aesthetics of the room. We have stayed numerous times since, not for the luxury loving but I could not advise anywhere better for the location, bars, restaurants the sights....

After being told that the accomadation we had paid for at the 3 Ducks backpackers was not booked and they had no record of us nor ere they willing to help us Finding this little gem was a gift from a greater power. For only slightly more than we paid to stay at a backpackers we had our own room with shower. Its definitly not a luxery stay but the people are friendly there is a metro station less than 300 meters away and a local supermarket. I would definitly sty here again - Mind the stairs they definitely have character

We looked at a lot of hotels in this price range and found this one to be in the best neighborhood. As you can imagine, a very inexpensive hotel in a nice neighborhood means it isn't very fancy. At all. However, for those of us on a tight budget who don't want to stay in the wild youth hostels it is a good option.

Positives: Good Location; near lots of bakeries, restaurants, a subway stop and the Eiffel Tower. It felt like a safe neighborhood.
The room was cleaned everyday and sheets changed.

Negatives: We got one small, thin hand towel so make sure you pack your own towels. The toilet was on our floor and was cleaned, but the shower was two floors down and not that clean. There was a sink and bidet in our room, but the bidet had one water temperature - scalding hot - which made it pretty useless. Everthing in the room was very old and falling apart but we didn't see any roaches or filth.
The staff was a little aloof, but helpful.
The stairs were super steep, sometimes tough to climb with luggage or after a long day of walking.

Again, don't take your girlfriend here for a romantic weekend in Paris, but for those who want a tolerable, very cheap room, it is a good bet.

I was for only two nights there. A horrible experience. Everything is dirty, no elevato and the staff is very impolite and even rude. Everything is fine till the moment you try ask for something or to criticise anything. Horrible experience!

my friend and i only stayed at this hotel for 1 night. we were going to a concert at the omnisports stadium (which is only a couple of stops on the metro) so just wanted somewhere to crash for the night. the room was small but clean. we had booked a twin room with a small shower/toliet ensuite. this hotel is ideal for a short stay or for people just looking for somewhere to sleep while they do the wonderful sights of Paris. (we were in room 1-on the ground floor next to the laundry room which was a bit busy in the morning!) overall a nice place to stay and easy to get into the centre of Paris.
