Better than average Paris budget hotel - very clean and tidy. Perfect location - 10 minute walk from Gard du Nord and 5 minutes from a metro station with 2 lines either east/west or north south without changing. Friendly staff and 24 hour access - perfect for a night on the town! Taxi 11 euro from Latin quarter! 5 minutes from Sacre Couer. Quiet street too.

I ve been for a short city break in Paris and ended up at this hotel and i loved it. Althou the rooms are small, there was very quiet and warm in the room. The position is excellent, situated near Sacre Coeur and near Anvers Metro station give the tourest a good flexibility for visiting the city. Also i like the fact that there were lots of restaurants nearby as well as an market. Speaking of restaurants, the one in the hotel is quite small and could have dificulties when crowded. All in all it is a great hotel.

PS : The man at the front desk was very nice and has a great sense of humor, bonus points for him:)

Our stay at Bellevue Hotel Montmartre in Paris was excellent! Samb and all the staff was friendly and very accommodating. The location is also great. Breakfast is an added bonus and was lovely with croissants, boiled eggs, coffee, juice, deli slices, fruit, etc..Perfect for the wallet and to get ready for a beautiful day in a beautiful city-Paris.

We have no complaints at all and will book again upon our return. Thank you Samb and staff! You helped make our first time in Paris wonderful!

Mercí beaucoup,
Brenda et Ruby

We've stayed here several times, so this review is based on more than a one-off visit. The location is very handy for Barbes-Rochechouart and Anvers metros, and Gare du Nord isn't much more than 10 minutes walk. The bottom station of the funicular railway up to the Sacre Coeur is a couple of minutes round the corner and up the hill, and once there you're into the main tourist part of Montmartre, with Place de Tertre and Sacre Coeur further up the hill via the funicular (or nearly 300 steps) or a short walk through to Abbesses.

On arrival, the staff are very helpful and friendly, with English spoken if required. Make sure you get a wi-fi voucher to get onto the hotel's free wi-fi. There is a lift up to the upper floors, as well as stairs. The lift is small, so anything more than two people with luggage is a squeeze.

The rooms are comfortable and have en-suite shower and toilet. We've only used double rooms, so I can't comment on any other accommodation, but the beds are almost too comfortable at times. The basic nature of the rooms means that there is a shortage of storage space for clothes and luggage, so the room can look a bit untidy during the stay. The daily room service manages to work around the various piles of stuff to do a decent job of replacing the bedding and towels etc. There's a small desk and a tv on the wall, but not a lot else.

Given the location, there is nothing much of a view. The front rooms look across to the building on the other side of the road. The rear rooms look over an enclosed courtyard. A bonus on our visit this week was that the large shop across the road had been converted into a two level Franprix supermarket. The road outside is busy during the day, as it's a commercial area, but that is completely turned around at night when the area is very quiet and almost deserted with very little background noise to disturb the night's sleep. The hotel reception is manned 24/7 so there's no hassle with curfews, but we've not experienced much evidence of late night noise from returning guests.

If you're after a decent budget hotel in Montmartre, Hotel Bellevue is well worth a look.

Really convenient location, close to the Metro and the Gare de Nord is only a 15 minute walk. Our room was basic, a bit compact but very clean and the en suit shower was spot on. Room was maintained well by the maid. The hotel reception was always nice and fresh and the reception staff were really pleasant, helpful and really accomodating to any requests. Booking in is at 3 o clock but bags can be left in a supervised corner of reception. Plenty of varied eating places, three supermarkets and a boulongerie on your doorstep. We did not opt for the breafast. For Paris a good value for money no frills hotel.

Room tip: Ask for a room looking over the entry street.
