Came across this great little restaurant by chance, it being just around the corner from the Color Design Hotel we were staying at. Offering delicious, authentic Algerian food combined with wonderful attentive service, I'm genuinely happy to recommend it. Excellent value too! Try their freshly brewed mint tea to finish off the evening.

For those in our party who weren't crazy about French food this was a good choice - a selection of middle eastern recipes with cous-cous, tagine and kebab options - maybe it needed some of the cheerfullness of the staff - and a handful of spices - as it seemed a little bland. Not expensive though and the Baklava dessert, which my husband was craving, was delicious.

We went to this restaurant as we were staying in the hotel next door. It is in a quiet area. It was a lovely experience from the start, with a very warm welcome from the staff. It was around 8.00 and the place was already very busy however we were served quickly. We had a brick each and then a couscous and a tajine. Food was really good, very tasty, warm and enough to feed a family of 4! We also had pastry and mint tea. The prices were reasonable. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

One of the best morrocan restaurant I've ever eaten in.
The food is tasty, served rapidly, and in big quantity.
The staff is great, and honnest enough to admit that, that one day, the beef could have been of better quality.
Not very afordable, but totally worth the price

We were visiting Paris with friends following a lovely cruise on the Rhone. My friends' cousin lives in Paris and took us each evening to a different favorite neighborhood eatery. Le Berbere was the last night of our stay and what a delicious ending to our trip. We began our meal with a variety of bricks which are phyllo pillows stuffed with lamb, beef, and other savory fillings. They were delicious! For the main course we all ordered tagines - lamb & chicken, although there are other varieties including a vegetarian option. The meat was very tender and juicy & the accompanying vegetables were well seasoned. The serving size is very generous. We all shared a nice North African rose wine that complemented the meal and was a good value. Service was very attentive and helpful in explaining the dishes. There is a wide variety of desserts & all that were sampled were delicious as well. Not mentioned in any of the guidebooks we had but well worth the trouble to find.
