Cosy and comfortable. Free Internet was very useful. Quite clean as well. No air conditioning so have to keep the window open. Although the hotel is not on a busy road, the accoustics in the street amplify any ambient noises - quite annoying if someone is having a party. Overall good hotel but maybe slightly over priced.

Hotel is located in small (and quiet) street, which makes it quieter than most other hotels. Rooms were really clean and airy with big windows. No airconditioning, which can be problem during hot summer. No closet or wardrobe, just a small hanger. Very expencive breakfast, but several cafes nearby. Superior Double room is just few squaremeters bigger than normal room - no other differencies, so it's not worth of the price difference. Doors of the rooms are not soundproof, luckily there are only 5 rooms at one tloor. Hotel is conveniently located close to metro station (Saint Georges).
I suggest the hotel for a short trip (max 2 nights), but not longer as it is unconvenient to handle luggage and clothes. Also avoid Superior rooms, as they are not worth the money (compared to normal rooms).
Wifi was working OK:

Room Tip: Rooms in higher floors have nice view over the rooftops.

Really got lucky when I booked this hotel. It's an a very quiet area but only a ten minute walk to Pigalle and probably 1 minute to the metro station at St George. The room was more than adequate, though I did have a superior to be fair, and was a good size for a Paris hotel. Bathroom was again perfectly good and spotlessly clean. Lack of room service didn't bother me at all, with all the places to eat and socialise in Paris the last thing I wanted to do was eat in my room! There are some nice cafes a 2 minute walk away anyway. Would definately stay again, in fact I plan to fairly soon.

What a fantastic hotel. My wife and I booked this "3 star" with a little trepidation as we had booked another 3 star hotel nearby, a few years ago, which was terrible, but after reading the reviews here, thought we would give this a try.
What a revelation! The hotel is on a quiet street, only 50 meters from the metro station. The staff were excellent. Helpful and pleasant, and for those of us who have trouble with languages, spoke excellent English. The rooms were larger than expected with room to move, the bathroom actually had a full size bath (very much appreciated after a long day walking around, sightseeing). They didn't have all the mod cons, like a fridge, but there was a LCD TV mounted on the wall, and the wireless was free and fast.. Just the basics. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a quiet place to stay while exploring the wonderful city of Paris. Its walking distance to Pigalle, and Moulin Rouge, and there are many restaurants and cafe's very close by. Excellent hotel.

It is increasingly difficult to find anywhere in Paris that is half-decent for under €100 a head, and this is one of the few. Not sure how much travelling 'Flipster' has done, but the Rue Ferriere is a small, quiet, partly residential and partly offices, side road in the St Georges area. This is a popular inner city residential area well known for its local restaurants (numerous) and its 'foodie' rue des martyrs nearby. I saw no graffiti or peeling plaster and paint, although about 1/2km up the road is Pigalle which attempts (rather pathetically and in a very small scale) to maintain its old reputation as one of the the 'red light' areas of paris. The hotel is close to 2 metro stations (St Georges and Notre Dame de Lorette) and within easy walking distance of the Opera Garnier. Rooms are bigger than most 3* hotels in Paris, recently refurbished with new modern bathrooms (do like the locals and sit down to shower or you will fill the bathroom with water) and comfortable beds. Unusually for small Paris hotels the decor is 'modern Scandinavian' rather than traditional frilly and floral and is refreshingly minimalist. Free internet access in the main lounge which is a delightful meeting area to read, relax and hang out. I never have hotel breakfasts in Paris - the coffee and croissants are much better and it is always more fun to go to the local corner cafe - which is excellent as has been reported earlier here.

We would thoroughly recommend this wonderful little hotel to anybody who prefers small, modern and stylish over room service and porters. Much bigger rooms than hotels in other quartiers, simply and tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and great views over Paris rooftops. Really helpful staff, great location and try dinner at Cafe Jardis up the road - stumbled across it one night and were blown away.
