The location was convenient; close to Gard du Nord and metros but our stay was not comfortable. While the hotel tries to retain its romantic charm, it shows signs of aging including carpeting in the rooms. There is no A/C which was easily resolved with the large windows that open, however, we faced the courtyard which was noisy and extremely smokey. With two kids, the constant cigarette smoke was unbearable meaning we had to keep our windows closed on hot July days. While the tiny kitchen was a nice addition, really too small to be useful. The price and location were right but not worth the discomfort. Better for couples and ask for street view.

Room Tip: Street view

Stayed here several years ago and enjoyed it very much, not quite as much this visit. While the location is good, the staff friendly and helpful, the hotel really needs some maintenance. We booked a suite this visit which had plenty of room for the three of us but it was bit rundown. There was black mold all over the shower window area which should have been scrubbed off or painted over. The windows throughout the suite need replacing or at least a paint job. We did not use the kitchen but looking it over it appeared very tired. The towels were great and the beds comfortable. The free WIFI was excellent.

Stayed 4 nights, 2 studios for 6 people. Bathrooms are mouldy, dim, tiles and sinks cracked.

Cigarette smoke early in the morning through open window coming up from courtyard.

183 euros per night seemed very expensive.

Cotton sheets and towels are nice, that's it though.

Small boutique hotel with interesting decoration. Clean. Friendly staff. Good for couples. Fresh juice and delicious croissants at breakfast. Good location near Pigalle and walking distance to Boulevard Haussman.

Well located near Pigalle metro station and Place Pigalle. Very clean and functional room, but quite. The elevator is a typical 100 year old Parisien elevator, great for antique lovers but less practical. Generally good value in an expensive city.
