I had a great stay here. It's clean, comfortable, and in a great neighborhood. It's not near the popular tourist sites but it is close to several train stations so I could get wherever I needed to go quickly. The staff/customer service was great (on property and online). I misunderstood the payment/city tax and made several inquiries. This was completely my fault but they were patient and willing to explain as many times as needed for me to understand. I'm sure it was annoying to them but they never showed it. Huge plus. The breakfast is a bit pricey but I took advantage because of convenience. They did have a nice selection. I would love to stay there again. It's a great little gem.

I've just spent a wonderful weekend in Paris with my family and it was made all the better for the fact that we stayed at the Printemps.
My sister found the hotel via the internet and what a find it was. We needed to be close to the Gare de Lyon and the Bercy concert hall so it was perfectly situated near the Place de Nation that has many metro, bus and RER lines running from it.
From Loretta on the front desk during the day to Kevin at night and the whole team (especially the breakfast ladies who were so friendly and helpful) the welcome was just wonderful.
Our room was very clean, quiet and comfortable.....not always an easy find in Paris unless you have a massive budget! And the breakfast was fabulous and set us up for the day.
I can't recommend this hotel enough and I will certainly be going back.
Well done Loretta and the team you're doing an excellent job!

We stayed on 2 separate occasions. They were very nice. The front desk was always available 24hrs a day. Always answered our questions. English was pretty good overall. Fair warning, the hallways are very small(one person at a time) The rooms are small too. Although, the biggest plus for us was that they were willing to hold out luggage when there was a gap in time between flights so we didn't have to pay for a storage place to hold our luggage! breakfast was 9 eu, so we passed on that, but coffee was always on the house! Would definitely stay again.

We are so thrilled we were blessed to stay at this hotel which feels like a home because staff is amazing friendly and helpful. Traveling with my wife and kids from USA and we do not speak any French. No need all staff spoke very good English and eager to help. Loretta, Antonio and Wada all went above and beyond in delivering Exceptional Service everyday. They explained everything from how to hop on Le Metro subway to zip to the Effel Tower- one train- 20 minutes to how to complete the ID Passes for unlimited Metro Train, bus and related public transportation us. A big deal because I'd your picture is not affixed to Unlimited Pass with your name written in the correct place, and you need a photocopy of your Passport- then when you get of train to exit transportation officials audit you and it is $35 Euro fee per person! We did get stopped but thanks to Wada front the hotel front desk making photo copies and helping us construct ID for Unlimited Passes we we in the clear! Others were getting fines! Many others lines of them. Finally breakfasts are lovely, rooms and entire hotel completed renovated maintaining the classic historic feel, water pressure and temperature outstanding (my daughter has very long think hair so water pressure and volume much appreciated, entire hotel immaculently clean and in perfect repair, neighborhood sidewalk is very quiet with little car traffic but lots of foot traffic. Our room #14 had a wonderful view of trees and sidewalk. Lots of sidewalk cafes, restaurants, bars, bakeries! and grocery stores within 30 seconds walk. I appreciated the variety and some we quite inexpensive and others were mid range. I saw no Americans and all local French people and they were very friendly as this is a neighborhood. Great parking right outside hotel on street. Took Metro line at all times of day bouncing between Eiffel Tower to here- and my kids easy did it by themselves. They are 15 years and 14 years boy and girl. Very SAFE and Pleasant.

Room Tip: All rooms and hallways and lobby immaculent new remodel yet historic

Dear Patrick A,
Thank you so much for your detailed review and your compliments on our team and the hotel. They will be shared. I am happy to hear that your family also enjoyed our typically French and safe neighborhood with many restaurants, cafés and shops. Yes the unlimited Paris Visit Pass is really useful and economical for visiting Paris and I am glad that our receptionist was able to help you with.
We look forward to seeing you again in Paris

This is a 2 star hotel with 5 star service and features. Rooms are small but well equipped with terrific air conditioning, fast wifi and even a TV with CNN and other foreign language channels. The lobby and breakfast area is charming and the staff here are all very nice. While the furnishings are rustic, they are very new and everything is super clean here. It's about a 10 minute walk to Nation where there are four Metro lines and RER-A, or a 3 minute walk to Picpus where you find Metro line 6 along with buses 29 and 56. The neighborhood is quiet and "normal" with nice people and many shops and restaurants nearby.
