We stayed here with our two young children for two nights and honestly, it was just enough of the old Paris feel to be fun, but not sketchy. First the bad: The rooms are small, the gout in the showers need bleaching and street is it on is pretty bland. The GOOD: The rooms are reasonably priced and they have gone through lengths to soundproof, which is lovely. They have excellent air conditioning that is controllable by you and they have a breakfast that is served in the tiny lobby area. The BEST (and why I give them that fourth star): It is right in the middle of Parisian's Paris. There are several cafes within a few dozen feet to pick from and a boulangerie called La Baguette de Paris just down the road that is not to be missed. The staff is kind and very helpful and honestly, it feels good to support a small business which is obviously trying their hardest.
We felt safe there and I would happily return. It's definately quaint and a little gritty here and there, but all in all, it was a very good place to stay. More
