We stumbled across this restaurant when we were meandering around L'Isle St Louis and felt a little peckish. It immediately grabbed us because there were many locals there and it was noisy and busy with mounded plates flying past smelling wonderful. We were fortunate to get a table as it was the busiest lunch of the week, Sunday.
The brasserie was very authentic in appearance, which I loved, and the food was great! So nice to see food that isn't pretentious - just hearty and filling as well as delicious.I will certainly go back.
I think some of the reviews I have just read on here really don't get that this too is Paris - go with the flow and enjoy it, no expectations and vive la difference!
