We didn't "happen upon" this little gem. We did a bit of research and reserved several restaurants for our 3 week road trip in France. All were worth the effort but this stood out. The intimate ambience (mostly Parisians patrons), being able to view the chefs at work and the superlative food, all contributed to a memorable meal. The flavour of the veal with mushroom purée and subtle orange sauce was something I will attempt to copy when I return home. The waiter's recommendation of wine pairing was sublime. I've since looked for this wine in French stores and can't find it...so now it's just a fond memory.
Keep up the excellence! I'll be back.

We had a fabulous meal. The food was very interesting and very rich. You would need to be very hungry to eat the three courses. The flavours and combinations were fantastic. It's not a restaurant for children as the food would really not suit unless you have a very adventurous child. We gave our daughter a pizza before we went ! She tried all of the courses but was the biggest fan of the desert. The staff and restaurant were all very welcoming. I would totally recommend the place.

We discovered this restaurant on TripAdvisor and thought that we’d give it a try. A bit of a taxi ride from L’Opera district, but well worth it. Small restaurant, seating 20-24 people. Three chefs work side-by-side in an open kitchen creating many excellent dishes. Very creative presentations. A great value restaurant. Reservations a must!

Definitely the best food at the best price! All four courses were divine-none of them were a weak point but rather each of them stood out with wonderful flavors. We enjoyed having a high table next to the kitchen because we got to see the team work together. They clearly work well together! I wish we had eaten here earlier during our trip so that we could have returned. Such a step above the other meals we had in Paris. You have to call ahead and have a reservation.
