I went in this place twice times to eat different plates. It’s a small but very confortable place, where it’s possible to eat great quality and very good food!
Cheap if compare with other restaurants close of Calitole.

I stopped here with my grandson in early March and we enjoyed a lovely meal outside in the sun. The menu contains typical French fare and we also had great Belgian beer with our lunch. The plat du jour, a porc brochette was served with a delicious sauce and the magret brochette was perfectly cooked. We enjoyed this place immensely!

I liked the drinks, the products and the staff. It's a cosy place, casual, anyone feels like if they were at their home. Good location.

It's 30 degrees in Toulouse in September! We've just been to the Couvent des Jacobins and St Pierre des Chartreux. If you're coming to Toulouse, please go to both these places, and before you get here, also go to http://emilytoulouse.wordpress.com. It's a blog that gives really great advice. Very nicely written and valuable. Anyway, it's hot, and we decide to stop at El Deseo for lunch on the way back to the hotel in Place du Capitole. They have tapas, they have really interesting dishes, more importantly they have great salads, and most importantly, they have tall, frosty glasses of a great Belgian beer named Estamineto. We've come from nights of plates of food that are too big for mortal men and women. So a plate of Iberian salad - really good proscuitto, ham. salami, cheese, lettuce and tomato, grilled capsicum, and a plate of Salade Fromage are perfect. Really well assembled, fresh and lovely. The staff are great, tolerant of a lack of French, ready to laugh, ready to suggest wine - just terrific. There are many more sophisticated, more expensive bars and restaurants in Toulouse, but this is the one I'm going back to tomorrow. Just lovely.
