It is always a joy to find a hotel that stands out of the ordinary. Very clean rooms, amazing decoration, excellent spa, diversified buffet for breakfast.
The only problem was when we ordered room service: we waited an hour then decided to call them back when they told us they were out of ingredients. We cancelled the order and slept without dining.

We visited this hotel in mid winter just before Xmas
The room was comfortable , warm, though fairly small .
It is well situated just a short walk from the sea and in the other direction the centre of town.
Le Havre was certainly worth the visit.
The hotel is quite boutique, has tea making facilities and well run though fairly expensive.
Maybe this is normal these days in France

We came to Le Havre at the last minute and booked into Hotel Vent d'Ouest. The staff was extremely polite and spoke excellent English. I highly recommend taking their suggestion and eating at the hotel's restaurant, which is located a ten-minute walk away in a beautifully restored manor house. The room was a bit small, but the large windows and airy atmosphere more than made up for that.

Close to St joseph in the midst of the UNESCO preserved brutalist area, this is a cosy yet trendy (or vice versa) place. The perfect place for a getaway or for starting an exploration of this fascinating city. The spa is really enjoyable.
