As divers, we look for clean convenience, and as previous reviewers have noted, DapDap provides excellent value for money. We are out on a boat most of the day and need a room for safely storing our stuff, showering up and sleeping off the nitrogen.
We also need real food. DapDap provides this in profusion: delicious local cuisine in ample portions at reasonable prices. The hot pork sinagang soup after a long, bone chilling dive is about one of the finest experiences imaginable.
So far, so good. Why are we going for excellent on this resort?
We expected (and got) what we were looking for: clean convenience and value for money.
What we hadn't expected was to meet such gracious hosts: Grace and Kim. We hadn't expected to be welcomed into the community they support (check out all of the community awards and certificates). We hadn't expected to be 'included'.
There is something about natural hospitality that just can't be faked and is so amazingly refreshing after all of the the 'high class' plasticity of 4~5 star hotels and resorts.
So if you know how to find what you aren't looking for, you might just be ready to be refreshed at DapDap. We were.More
