Loved this hotel, double glazing, blackout curtains near the centre of Aix-en-Provence and a short walk from the bus station that connects to the tgv. The rooms are small but beautifully appointed and the staff are friendly. The shower was very small and the meals were very rich and expensive.

The staff are particularly friendly. Thank you front desk: Mohamed for sorting our accommodation and answering all our questions, Lydia for her good humour , Nicolas, Laure and the rest of the team. Sergio in the excellent Leopold restaurant for his welcoming smile and expertise, the joyful lady at the bar.
This hotel is in the perfect location, a short walk to the bus station, the railway station, across the street from the Tourist Bureau. And best of all, next to the
Cours Mirabeau with its shady restaurants, old fountains, thrice weekly wonderful markets.
Highly recommended.

Room Tip: We had a small balcony, a relaxing place for a glass of wine and people watching.

I really loved this hotel. Of the various hotels I've stayed in on business in the centre of Aix, this is now my favourite.

Anyone who reads my reviews will know I'm fussy about air conditioning. This is the first hotel whose room air conditioning actually worked well and I could turn it down way colder than I needed. The A/C controller was however in Russian for some reason.

Room 305, I was in a new looking room with double bed and I slept really well, the bed has the really nice heavy blanket bedding that pins you in place. The room itself was very modern and clean, with LED lighting to the headboard of the bed and all looked very snazzy. The room was made up every day to precise standards, even to the point of putting the rather strange tentacle-shaped lights back in the original alignment. Some noise from the corridors as expected but couldn't hear anything from neighbouring rooms, so has good soundproofing.

The bathroom was also very well decorated and appeared fairly new (if a little cramped getting in and out). The shower was powerful, though it was a bit slow to respond to changing water demand as it did routinely try to burn me when a neighbour used their shower/toilet. Watch out for that. The bathroom comes with really nice smelling bottles of soap/shampoo/body wash which were replenished every day. Yes I may have borrowed a few for home.

Breakfast - reasonable selection of continental items but I didn't feel the selection was worth the 13 EUR they were charging. Just the usual croissants, crepes, pancakes, toast, yoghurts, ham, salami, cheeses. They did have, rather oddly, chocolate brownies on offer for breakfast. Much as I have a sweet tooth I'd have preferred some bacon for that money...

Location - central in Aix and easy to get to from the central bus station.

Staff - very welcoming and efficient, they spoke excellent English.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would go again.

Located in the epitome of the centre of Aix overlooking the Rotunde and being but a crossing of the road to arrive at the Course Mirabeau, St. Christophe must be one of the best placed hotels in Aix and has limited parking beneath. Whilst being very central, it is busy but surprisingly not noisy.
One can sit outside and watch the world go by with a glass of wine and not be deafened by traffic. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfasts offer a pretty reasonable selection of fresh light patisserie in particular. It is not so known for evening meals due to the huge amount of competition.
The rooms are comfortable, quite well equipped but not sizable. Air conditioning and fantastic showers are throughout. A personal like are the supplied spa quality local shower gels, shampoos and soaps which are of a very good quality leaving you feeling and smelling great.
St Christophe continues to provide very good value especially for its central and desired location.

This hotel is so closed to the main district of Provence. It's like 2 mins walk. Not only that, it's so closed to the main bus station. It's extremely convenient .

The check process is okay and the front desk was helpful and friendly. The room itself is okay in terms of size and cleanliness.

The only negative is the bath room, so small and I feel like I am in Japan when I was showering.

Other than that, it's a cool hotel and not forgetting, good wifi!
