We wanted a small, old, family-operated hotel in the center of a small, but not tiny, town, and we got it--and more. The young owners really enjoy their work and made us feel like we were were returning home each day. We requested a balcony room and got one overlooking the square--a great place to watch the activity, especially on Saturday (market day) mornings. Their breakfasts (a bargain at 5 euros) can't be beat and Amandine makes the BEST LEMON TART ever at their convenient next door restaurant. We can't wait to return!

Room Tip: We liked sleeping with the balcony doors open, so we heard the early morning trash collectors and st...

Nice and extremely friendly hotel in the center of Apt, charming city in Provence.

The staff is really nice, rooms are cosy and colorful and the hotel is the perfect place to start visiting the region (from Senanque, to Roussillon, Gordes and so on).

One of the friendliest hotel owners we experienced during our two week cycle tour across France. The room was what was expected for the price but the owners made the difference.

Apt itself also turned out to be better the expected. Well worth a visit.

beautiful small and charming hotel. The rooms are small they have all what you can need, including desk and big wardrobe. It is located in the center of Apt and Guillelm (I think this is the name) is the nicest owner ever! We got lost looking for lavender in Valensole so we end up arriving the the hotel after 10pm, the owner was waiting for us and ready to give us information and any help we would need, he totally made the difference in our stay and made us feel at home.
We stayed in the 3 beds room and the charming colors and the little balcony on the square were adorable.
We didn't try the breakfast because we preferred a croissant on the go, considering the small time available.
The only negative note were the noise of the rubbish track around 6 in morning and the noisy and a bit old bathroom, but this didn't affect our stay at all!
would definitely recommend it or go back myself if in Apt again!

Small and charming family hotel in the old house in the centre of Apt. Owned by affable family pair doing all to you feel like in home. Not big but comfortable rooms with tiny balcony, good breakfast.

Hotel is bike-friendly, owner (really strong man :) ) even lifted all our bicycles for us to the first floor. Highly recommended!

During our travels, we often do not book in advance, but play it by ear. This time, we were tired and decided to land in Apt. We drove to the centre of town and found this sweet, little hotel, tucked away in a corner. It also hosts a decent restaurant downstairs. We got the family room with a double bed and a bunk bed. Sleeping under sturdy wooden beams of an old, French building was special. The room is simple but good. The breakfast was excellent. The owner took great care of us by helping us carry our heavy suitcases up and down the stairs, and giving me extra oranges for breakfast (I had caught the Mistral in me). The only minus: the room would benefit from some airing. But a minor flaw on an overall positive experience.

We booked this hotel in Apt last minute, whilst on a road trip around France.

Our room was very good value. The hotel is small and very sweet. The rooms are quite basic but comfortable. We liked that our room backed onto a patio so we could sit outside.

The owners were extremely friendly and hospitable, we enjoyed our breakfast of only 5euros in the morning.

So a great place to stay if you are on a budget.
