Mostly tourists. However, fish massively overcooked and prawns not uniformly cooked (Mostly undercooked). Bland. Wine selection substandard. However, friendly enthusiastic service. Decor excellent. Food needs to be tested by chef before serving.

We stumbled across this place just off la place Voltaire and couldn’t believe our luck. Fantastic seafood and steak, excellent wine selection and great service.

It was a very quiet night in Arles. Besides it being March and cold, the mistral winds had arrived which made it even worse. And it was a week night so no one was out. In spite of all that, it was a totally fun night. The décor and vibe is crazy cool and there was one man in the restaurant doing it all and he was low key and made us very comfortable. We had a great date night with tasty food and drink. Very happy we decided to go there and it's a night I will remember because it was such a cool place.

I have ordered fix lunch menu in the price of 30 Euro:seafood salad to start and ribeye steak as main course.
My wife ordered 23 Euro fixed lunch a pumpkin soup and monk fish with grilled vegetables. We shared green salad ,dessert (inc in menu) and 2 glass of wine.
All dishes were generous,” simple “ and very good.
We paid 60 Euro + tip
A place where locals eat and gives very fairly well value to the coast.

I wouldn't have even bothered, would have chalked it down to just a bad tourist trap restaurant I was eager to forget however there was a pretty awful incident that occurred during me and my friend's visit to this hole.

In short. it was late and options were limited. getting straight to the food is tiny, clearly bought in form some mass produced outlet that this kind of tourist trap restaurants by from. Upon reading the other reviews, it's as if we entered some parallel universe because this place isn't just bad it is barely edible. But the worst was yet to come.

After my teeny tiny starter, more the size of an amuse bouche, and the quarter of a half filet of sea bream, generously missing half the things listed on the menu, I looked forward to my fondant au chocolat. sometimes called a mi-cuit, aka a lava cake. now I asked was it homemade. the waiter assured me it was.

When it arrived, it was very easy to tell that it was bought in substandard fare, worst of all was when my spoon went in it, it was solid as a rock. now a Fondant is in the name since it means melting. Solid, not a single droplet of chocolate liquid. more solid than a really good gooey gooey brownie. no ooey no gooey was to be seen. we complained to the waiter. he said that is was a fondant and then proceeded to teach us what a fondant was. which was entirely wrong as you can surmise.

Then out of nowhere the owner arrived. shockingly yelling and screaming. From that moment on this man never stopped yelling by himself and told us that people with unsophisticated palates as ours should just go to the Mac Do aka McDonalds. I mean not that it matters I've eaten in some the best roadside stops in India with far better food and certainly better service.

The cherry on the Fondant if you will, was when a regular came over to put his two penneth in a tell us " well a fondant is made like that its always runny on the inside. that is why it's called a fondant." when I explained to the regular that was precisely the problem. He was stumped and walked away embarrassed.

All it would have taken would have been an apology and sending something else out. Problem is how can you send another one out when all are frozen over cooked bought in mass produced inedible inedible cast offs. you can't really. Like I said I would have chalked it down to just a forgettable bad restaurant, but with service like this and seriously amazing restaurants that do make homemade in France this place should never be allowed to serve a bad chocolate fondant or anything else (as all was awful/ barely edible) to anybody ever ever gain.

TRULY one of the all time worst 'dining' experience and certainly top 5 worst and rudest manager/owners we have ever come across.
