The hotel is located on the right bank of the river, just below the main bridge and five minute walking from the pedestrian zone of the town. Parking near the hotel is not a problem. The neighborhood of the hotel is rather old and not particularly attractive, but quiet; the hotel itself is an old but refurbished building. Our room was sufficiently wide with comfortable beds and despite it was located on the lobby floor, near the dining room, it was silent. The bathroom was comfortable. The free Wi-Fi connection did not work in the evening, but it did in the morning. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast, with hot drinks, fruit juices, croissants, cereals, biscuits, bread, a choice of marmalades, and salami.

This small hotel offers a taste of old France. It is on a small side street just a short walk across the river to the old part of town. Parking is on the street and is very tight, we found a parking spot on the river just a block from the hotel, when we returned to get our car the next day the car behind us had left us about two inches of room so it took a bit of wiggling to get out when we were ready to leave.. Room and entire hotel were very clean and neat, staff was very friendly and helpful. Roof top terrace was a nice feature that we all really enjoyed. Had large window that opened to the street below and let in soft breeze.
Bathroom had a tub and shower with plenty of hot water. Room was small but had everything one needs and the beds were very comfortable. Free WiFi.Wife was impressed with the air conditioner as it was very quite. Our French is very limited and the staff just pretended like we were fluent. We spilled a quart of milk in the lobby floor and they weren't even upset, I was quite impressed, So if we are ever in Arles again we will stay here.

The hotel is situated on a quiet street. It was a short walk over a bridge to the town center to access restaurants and area attractions. The room was basic and the breakfast was adequate, but the welcoming attitude of the hostess was great. She provided us with some good recommendations for dinner. The primary challege was finding an open parking spot near the hotel. We drove around for awhile before finding an acceptable place to park on the street.

Not too bad and not too good, just about right for a budget hotel - if you're driving and need a value hotel in Arles, this is a good option (or one of them :). There's nothing special about it, it will not provide you with a memorable stay, but it's ok on all the points that count.
- The building is old, the corridor had a bit of a musty "arome". Surprisingly, it has an tiny elevator. My room was small and basic, you can also see that in the pictures on the hotel web site, but it was clean. The mattress was not very comfortable, a bit hard and thin, but not so bad that I couldn't sleep. The air conditioner was good (it seemed relatively new and the room is small), wifi was ok. For some weird reason the AC remote is not in the room, I had to go and ask for it. The hotel itself is not air conditioned, only the rooms are, which seems pretty typical for 2 star hotels in France. The hotel seems to be owned or at least run by a family, and it seems that 9 PM is the end of their day - some reviews mentioned that they couldn't get hold of anyone at reception after 9PM (you are given an entrance code if you want to stay out later than 9 PM and have to tell them before 9 PM if you want breakfast the next morning).
Location: just outside the old city center, about 10 min. by foot, very close to the Rhone.
Parking: in the street, for free, but not guaranteed to be close to the hotel, so first drop the luggage off and then go hunt for a parking spot. In the evening it's a bit more difficult to find one, it might take 10-15 min of driving around and you'll have a 5-7 min. walk to the hotel.
Breakfast: available for a fee (~9 Euro) was ok, but nothing special.

So now the only question is why stay in Arles? Frankly, it might seem like heresy to tour the Provence and not stop in Arles, but I suggest to skip it. I did not find anything special about it, not the Roman ruins (better preserved in Nimes), not the cathedral, not the Reattu museum, and not the Wednesday market. Enjoy Les-Baux-de-Provence (Carrières de Lumières and the castle ruins) and move on. Just my $0.02.

Just next to the old town, cross the bridge and enjoy. Simple hotel, relatively small rooms, parking is usually possible in the streets around the hotel. The hotel is very difficult to find. Coming close to it is not difficult, but the final 100 meters are without any indication.
