We stayed here for three nights earlier this month. We arrived and departed via train, so the location was perfect; just a 10 minute walk straight from the station. Our room was spotlessly clean and quiet. The bathroom was updated and very clean, but TINY; even by European standards (TMI - but my husband couldn’t even stand in front of the toilet!)

The breakfast is the star of the show here; at €9.50 per person it was a great deal. Delicious coffee, lots of fresh options, and amazing locally made jams/jellies. The rose was my favorite! You can even purchase some to bring home with you.

Lots of restaurants within easy walking distance from this hotel. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

The location of this hotel is perfect, and its quite amazing how it is still quiet. I can't stress enough how amazing the location is.
There are plently of restaurants, cafes and stores a stone's throw from the hotel. Palais de Papes is 5 minutes away.

The staff are so friendly and the breakfast buffet was out of this world with heaps of Provencal treats. The lady who runs the breakfast buffet was just so lovely!
Avignon is such a wonderful place to visit and this hotel made it even more wonderful. The staff seemed genuinely interested in our plans for each day.
The rooms are very clean. The bathroom is dated but clean.

Our room was on level 2 which meant that a street light was at the same level as our room window, making it a little annoying at night as you can't get the room to be dark.
I'm sure if we had asked, the staff would have changed our room for us with no problems. :)

Our only issue is that we had only two nights here at Regina Hotel, we would have been glad to stay here even for a week.

If we were to return to Avignon, we would definitely stay here again, but we would request a room on a different level.

Thank you to the owners and staff at Regina Hotel. It was the perfect introduction to the hospitality of Southern France! We hope to visit again!

Room tip: Rooms on the second floor have the street light just above the window level, so avoid this if you can.

Great location. Walked straight out of the Avignon Centre train station, enter through the city walls and keep going straight down. Only 10 min walk. Felt safe enough walking until around 9pm, personally.

Reception staff all friendly. Great English which always puts me at ease especially when travelling alone.

Nice modern furnishings and wooden look floors which I love as they are much cleaner than carpet.

Cons : the soaps weren't refilled each day, Had to ask for more toilet paper one day. Toilet seat was too small for the bowl. These were just minor things though. The major issue was that it's so noisy. Could hear the guest in the next room snoring. Ear plugs are a must!

Would definitely return to this hotel without hesitation.

If you are a walker, this is a great spot to stay in Avignon. In the middle of old town with easy access to sights and restaurants. If you have a car, you have to park it in a garage a few blocks away, but just leave it there. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were very comfortable for a boutique hotel in old town. Nice balcony views of the street activity below.

Stayed here mid August 2018 and we had a lovely stay. No complaints - staff were friendly and we had no issues.

The room itself is neat and cosy, bed is comfortable and after a long day of walking - was a very restful sleep.

Hotel is great location at centre of town and perfect for trawling the back streets of Avignon.

Avignon is great for exploring itself and always great as a base if you also want to do day trips to sault, Pont du gard and gordes.
