Been here twice and it is excellent. It is a great treat to be able to eat at this world famous location. It's very expensive but worth it for a romantic dinner. Have the steak for 2. make sure you go to the champagne bar for a sunset cocktail 1st. Don't miss the sunset.

We visit the Grill at Eden Rock 1-2 times every summer because its such a special & Magic Place. We never lived in the hotel, but come for dinner every summer. The atmosphere, vibe & view is just something very very special. Food is very pricy, its also good, but u pay much for the location. Wines you can find in all categories from 35 euro to many thousand euros. I can understand that some People feel the prices are to high, but we feel its Worth it for a special visit every summer.

The Grill at Eden Roc is the entry level restaurant at this high end luxury hotel. In the daytime it serves as a lunch restaurant for the rich and famous spending their time alongside the hotel pool, but is also open for outside guests. The best experience however, is really for dinner when you get access to the fantastic terrace facing the sunset over the hills of Cannes and a decent (though stiff-priced) menu. Food is good, service is excellent and the ambience is superb. Is the food really worth it? Not really, but the whole experience is so great that it really serves as a treat that in its totality is well worth the splurge if you can afford it. The cake trolley is a highlight so save some room for dessert.

My fiancee and I dined at the 'Bar and Grill' last week, during a holiday to Cannes. What can I say; you don't just get amazing food here, you get perhaps one of the most amazing locations you could ever eat a meal in the whole world thrown in! It's THAT special.

Things get special as soon as you approach the gate to this famous hotel. You're directed past the main manor to a building on the sea front which houses the bar and grill, the even more upscale restaurant, the champagne bar and a few bedrooms. Our car was whisked away and valet parked for free. We were quite early (7pm) so we got a table right by the railing looking out over the sea.

I had the rack of lamb which was absolutely melt-in-the-mouth. It was served with an amazing dressing of Espelette red peppers and delicious new potatoes sauteed in thyme and rosemary. My fiancee had the spaghetti with tomato and basil which was equally delicious. The desserts were out of this world; a waffle with a strawberry compote and a 'half-baked' chocolate cake.

It was expensive (approx. €160 for two courses each, a bottle of water and two drinks) but you can't really expect anything less in this kind of place, and words can't really describe the view (have a look at my pics!). Please visit Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc if you can.
