The apartment is located near beach, restaurants, train & bus stations, grocery store. It is a secure building that is clean and quiet. The air conditioning was a blessing after a long day of sight seeing from the very hot and humid day. The kitchenette is convenient and it had everything we needed. There were 4 of us. Our college age students used the two futons for sleeping. It is tight but we were not in the apartment enough to notice. Also thanks for having movies and a CD player. It came in handy when we just needed to chill. The beach umbrellas, mats, and shopping cart were great amenities that can be overlooked. We appreciated it. Wifi would make this even better. We had a hard time getting access locally and had to go to Internet cafe.

at short notice we needed a place in Antibes/Juan les Pins and the owner Alan was extremely helpful. The apartment was just what we needed and as the pictures show-not enormous but for the 2 of us just right. The kitchen was fully equipped (which is often not the case), the wide selection of DVDs and videos was great-a rainy night was spent in with a bottle of red and vintage Only Fools and Horses-magic! There was always plenty of hot water and although the road outside did get noisy some mornings, the heavy metal shutters kept most of the noise as well as early sunlight out. Breakfast on the balcony-perfect, a great suntrap and lovely way to start the day. Location-wise, the apartment was fantastic. 1 road back from the sandy beach and all the bars and restaurants of JLP. It's a great base for exploring further, too-we enjoy walking and there are great coast walks along to Cannes, Golfe Juan, Cap d'Antibes and Antibes itself. We could never get a taxi back from Antibes and in the end didn;t even try as it's a really nice 15 minute walk anyway. Supermarkets, local delis and butchers etc are all within 2 minutes walking max which is a great bonus for day to day shopping. Also train and bus stops right around the corner for those who don't want to walk everywhere like we did! We were having such a good time there we asked if we could stay an extra 3 days and it was no problem-we just went to see the local agent and rearranged key drop off etc with him. It really was a refreshing break just when we needed it.
