In your case, we need to clarify that you came to the reception stating that someone entered your room; however, nothing was stolen. The technician checked your safe and found nothing wrong; it may have needed a battery change, which he promptly did.
Regarding the key, the only entries into your room were by the housekeeper, followed by the manager and the technician after you went to see them. There was a small issue with the timing, approximately an hour, but again, there were never any unauthorized entries into your room.
