This is a physically impressive hotel in a very good location. The staff is pleasant and accommodating.

We're using this hotel as our stop-over before flying back to the States. It's perfect for that. But it looks a lot more glamorous than it is. It is definitely a 3 Star, not a 4 or 5 Star hotel. The hotel is under-staffed and the person manning the desk has to welcome guests, answer phones and mix drinks at the bar. There is no parking and no bellhop. The Wifi is free, but slow. And breakfast is ample but average, with croissants of the "bought them at Safeway" variety.

We will stay here again. We were upgraded gratis from a "comfort" room to an "executive" and it is roomy and well appointed, with a huge bathroom. The airport is 10-15 minutes away by taxi. The price is right.

Go into to this one with your expectations set correctly and you'll enjoy it. I guess I simply see so much potential here to make it great and that it isn't.

We had booked this hotel well in advance of our trip and arrived to find that everything was as expected. This is a beautiful boutique hotel that is centrally located and within walking distance of most everything. The rooms are bright and large by French standards with spacious, efficient bathrooms. The air conditioning works well and everything makes for a very comfortable stay. The elevator is small so a room on the lower floors allows you to use the stairs. The breakfast room is pleasant and a good selection of hot and cold buffet choices are available. The entire building is clean and well maintained. The staff are all friendly and helpful. There are only two things that are less than perfect. The first is the construction in the street for the development of a new subway. This is not the fault of the hotel, of course, and being right on the line will be an asset when the construction is completed. The second problem is the very slow and inadequate WiFi system in the hotel. It is difficult to send an email message with photos attached because the unsecured router is so slow. It would be impossible to do any business transactions involving the transfer of large documents. This is a relatively easy fix, however, and I expect the hotel is working on it. This hotel is highly recommended for a pleasant and convenient stay in Nice.

The staff at this hotel were fantastic and went out of there way to help us. The rooms were modern and clean and the bathroom was outstanding. The hotel is in a great location a few blocks to the beach and the train. Would definitely stay here again.

Great boutique hotel. Well located, close to shopping, name brand stores. Also within walking distance of a variety of excellent restaurants. The hotel offers a great staff, rooms with full amenities, and breakfast that leaves nothing to want

We have just returned from a delightful stay at La Villa Nice of three days post disembarkation of a Cruise in Monte Carlo. An early check in was booked and honoured. We were quickly in our comfortable room at the front of the hotel with a charming balcony . La Villa has everything you require, guest rooms have a safe, refridgerator, tea/coffee making appliance, good bedding a big shower with overhead flower , and hand held shower sprays. The guest room decor is modern, simple and very clever. Housekeeping is spot on, clean, plenty of toiletries in the bathroom and good towels . Elsewhere decor in the hotel is goegeous, slightly quirky and makes you smile with delight. There is a small lift. The breakfast restaurant is one flight of stairs down from reception . The fare on offer was delicious both hot and cold. There is enough variety to energise you for your day of exploration in beautiful Nice. The coffee machine produces delicious cups of espresso and cappuchino. The reception staff are smiling professionals, helpful , typical French courteous style. The boutique hotel atmosphere we prefer of home away from is definetly achieved with a very special flare. Thank you for your hospiality .
