We stayed at the Nice Garden Hotel for two nights and it was wonderful! We flew in from the U.S. so we arrived in the morning and even though check-in isn't until the afternoon we were able to check-in and get some much needed sleep. Marian was so very nice and helpful! She suggested places to go, provided us with a map, etc. She even gave us a quieter room the first night as there was some construction taking place outside the room we were suppose to have and she knew how tired we were. She also let us leave our luggage there the day we checked out since our plane didn't leave until much later in the evening. Even though the hotel is very small, the rooms/bathrooms are very nice and clean. There is also a mini-fridge in the room which we found helpful for drinks. There is free internet which was fast and easy to connect to. There is a very nice garden/courtyard where you can hang out, have breakfast, etc. We did have breakfast one morning for 8 Euro a piece, however, we did not think it was worth it (mainly just bread and cold cuts) and the next morning went to one of the many cafes for breakfast. I guess the only other negative I can think of is that the privacy is minimal, especially if you have one of the two rooms right off the reception, which is where our room was one night. Overall though it is a great hotel with a helpful staff and in a great location - only a couple of blocks off the beach and right by a bunch of shops, restaurants, bars, etc. I thought the price was very good as well. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Nice!

What can I say that has not already been said. From our moment of arrival on Oct. 13th, to the time of departure on the 16th, just a totally pleasant experience. Marion, her mom, Becky and Anna do everything possible to accomodate their guests. We have stayed in some of the finest hotels in the world, but for down home friendlyness and attentive service, the Nice Garden Hotel cannot be beaten.

We have just returned from a 6 night stay at the Nice Garden, Hotel and to start with can only endorse what everyone else says. We certainly look forward to returning. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Promenade. There are two doors to which clients are given security numbers to gain access to the hotel giving peace of mind. The front desk is manned/womanned for about 13 hours per day. You receive a very warm welcome either from Marion or one of her assistants. When we were there they were Anna and Becky and all were excellent. Breakfast was usually served by Marion's mama and, like mother like daughter, she was very pleasant and helpful. The room was cleaned daily and towels changed daily and the room at night was quiet.Marion was always happy to help with any enquiries and to book restaurants for us and recommend restaurants. We thoroughly recommend the hotel and we stayed in the family room although as a bonus our daughter decided at the last minute not to come with us so we were only two in the room (we add that last sentence so that Marion knows who the review is from).

From the moment we arrived at Nice Garden we felt so at home. The service of staff at the hotel made our stay in Nice so memorable. Our room was spacious, airy and modern. We had our own bathroom which was fantastic.

The hotel is in a perfect location, seconds away from the beach, cafes and shops. The outdoor garden added to the enjoyment of our stay. At the end of our stay, my fiance left some clothes in our room - before we needed to call the hotel whilst in Venice, the staff had already arranged to post them back to our home address in Australia.

Breakfast was delicious and fresh. The hotel excudes an atmosphere of peace and tranquility even though it is situated in the heart of Nice. We would definitely stay there again.

I loved this hotel-- perfectly situated a few blocks from the beach, in the heart of town. Yet the walled in garden makes you feel like you're not right in the center of the city, and it's really pretty. Some of the rooms are quite small (we ended up staying in the smallest for some time) but they are all quaint and clean and very lovely. Marion took wonderful care of us, and she and Gabriella spoke perfect English (which really helped). They serve a very decent breakfast and really care about their guests. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!
