During November and December we visited the restaurant of Le Petit Palais d'Aglais three times - once in the evening and twice for lunch. The creativity of the cooking, combined with honesty, harmony of spices, and the very friendly staff made this to extraordinary and wonderful experiences. The hotels cave consists excellent and affordable wines, many of them from biological driven wine-yards in the area of Luberon. The chef uses vegetables and herbes from the hotels own garden, combines it with meat and fish of highest quality and offer the visiter the best of the best; fresh, short travelled and wonderful meals.

Just outside the village of Gordes, a retreat ... the hotel is in a wonderfull garden, very quiet amongst the nature with the view overlooking the luberon mountains. We had a room giving on the garden.
Very nice breakfast but no terrace to eat outside. One bemol : the chairs are not very comfortable and the food could be better !!! That could be better !

Room tip: rooms are rather small ask for garden or with balcony

Standard Room No 17, What a view and what a retreat to sit on the balcony with the silence and nature in front of you. AC and Safe. Free WiFi. Free Parking. Mattress, Bedlinen and pillows – top notch. On the downside the room is small so for a longer stay I recommend a larger. Limited space to put suitcases and handluggage. Recommend their set menu in the restaurant, wonderful food and excellent service from the waiter Christian.

Good afternoon Centh L,
We thank you for your opinion. The Classic room you booked is less 18m2 maybe, you will try on a next time a Deluxe or a Deluxe Balcony which is more spacious and large cup board for a long stay. You appreciated the menu in our gastronomic restaurant, we will wellcome you with pleasure a next time for a new wonderful experience.

We went here for dinner on our one night in the week without kids. It was fantastic. We had a beautiful table overlooking the valley and with Roussillon clearly in the distance. The service was friendly and very attentive, with excellent English spoken for those who could not speak French. Every course was delicious, from the amuse bouche to the petit fours. And we also could not believe the inexpensive price for the type of meal...€185 including a very nice bottle of Gigondas. Really lovely evening and highly recommended.

This small hotel tries to be chic and comfortable at the same time. If the rooms were larger, it would succeed. The room we had, #17, was small though the lovely balcony made up for it. The hotel grounds are quite lovely and the pool is beautifully located. The pool is, however, over-heated.
There's a fabulous restaurant that you must go to. The bartender makes a mean Aperol spritz - have one.
