Originally concerned after reading other reviews, but this hotel was total quality. Beautiful room, grounds, staff that bent over backwards, and the best meal on our 2 week trip. Hotel is tastefully decorated in shades of white with a mix of classic & modern. Large bath with separate tub/shower & WC. We had a room with large terrace that looked out on perfectly manicured grounds & mountains beyond. Concerns about location are overblown: shuttle bus or a 15 minute walk into town. Taxi ride was 25 euros.

Excellent hotel in beautiful location. Restaurant excellent if not particularly cheap, but well worth it. Big room with patio, very comfy bed. Lovely pools, friendly efficient staff. What's not to like. If you are thinking about it, just go.

The hotel delivered a luxury and quality in a very pleasant surroundings. The large bedroom had a terrace that over looked the gardens and the valley below. The indoor swimming pool sauna and steam room are very well laid out and enjoyable.

Room Tip: Book a standard room with a terrace

Overall a nice hotel, a little out of the way, too far to walk anywhere, but it is nice and quite.
Some places say this is a five star hotel, while others say four stars. This is DEFINITELY NOT 5* but a nice four star.
Front desk staff were very nice, but don't go out of there way to help when there are problems. They don't take ownership of them and basically say tough.... that's the way it is (not in those words, they just give that impression).
Room was clean, but very ordinary. They advertise air conditioning, but it is seasonal..... we arrived on a warm spring day. The room was very warm and of course no air conditioning, they say just open the door, which is fine, but there are no screens on the door, so at night we had cockroachs coming in from outside. Paying this amount of money I expect to be able to control the temperature in my room any time of the year.
Tea and coffee (two only - I like a couple of cups in the morning) is supplied in the room, but NO milk or creamer.... you can call and they will bring you milk, but it is a just a hassle.
Basic toiletries in the bathroom, but NO hair conditioner.
Internet is a big problem. When it works it is great, but it is very intermittent - extremely annoying when working on thing and it stops working.
If you want to use the spa - book in advance. They have very limited times available and unfortunately we were not able to get anything during our three day visit. And for some unknown reason - they don't work Sunday afternoon......
It appears that this hotel is more concerned about making money and cutting costs than about making the customer happy.

Typical french bulding from the provence with walls made of stone. I went in mid season on march. So it was cold. But i think it must be amazing during summer also as it has a pool surrounded by gardens with view to the valley. This is incredible! The facilities of the hotel are great. The restaurant is also excelent. Just one or two things to point out:
1) internet is not good. Sometimes you do not get wi fi in the room and you have to go to the reception in order to have good signal. Even in the reception it can be pretty slow sometimes. So if you need to work and stay connected i would consider this point.
2) there are some rooms that look kind of vintage. It is not bad but the difference with the other rooms is considerable. We were changed from rooms as we were facing problems with wi fi. So in the middle of our stay they changed us to the rooms near the reception. Those ones ( near the reception) are very modern and nice. The other ones ( far from reception) had a different aspect. I can't tell if they are refurnishing the hotel and they haven't finished yet or if they are different category rooms and they gave us kind of an upgrade. Not sure about that. However both rooms were really big!! Very spacious, including the bathrooms.
