I can't say that we had high expectations for this place due to its proximity to a major tourist attraction. In that regard, we got exactly what we expected. The restaurant was not overly busy, but the service was still rather slow. Considering we ordered crepes and charcuterie, we expected our food to arrive more quickly. The location does have a great view of the ancient theater, but the prices are higher than necessary to match. Our guidebook recommended the restaurant next door (V Cafe), but we didn't realize where we were until it was too late.

We swung in here for a quick bite and coffee before taking in the sights at the ancient Roman Theater. There are a fair number of places just across the street, one right after another.

For some reason, we forgot rule #1 - avoid a place that isn't busy. Several others were. Please note that we'd give the place 2 stars overall but 3 for crepes. They are good - that is to say that they are totally average for France - you will get what you expect and not more or less. I had their charcuterie and cheese plate - it was maybe fair at best. The cheeses just weren't that good or that interesting especially against this area which is just replete with amazing fresh cheese and meats. Their coffee is just pretty poor - avoid! If all you want is a crepe and a soda or whatever, I guess it's ok but still overpriced.

Honestly, one would be better off at the V Cafe next door, or any of several other nearby cafes / restaurants. Perhaps this review - their first - will help them to improve?

Bottom line is they really need to improve their food and get a serious coffee machine - I didn't notice until afterwards that their machine is a low-end consumer grade one - the one we have at home is better.
