Absolutely great restaurant! The chef is genius! We has two tasting sets, and every dish eas marvellous! The wine list is great, serious wines at good prices, each going great with the menua. Personnel is very polite, friendly, and professional!

25 minutes outside nice but 250 years away. we loved the passion they poured into the provençal meals. the hotel is rustic but you are transported to a different time and place. the setting is mediterranean meets medieval mountain redoubt. make sure to hike the alps maritimes trail above the hotel. and definitely take their advice on the local wines especially the white grown down toward nice.

We have never stayed at the hotel itself but once we have discovered the restaurant "gastronomique", we would always come back! Not one single time we were disappointed - either when we came with friends, or in a couple for a romantic dinner, or with family and kids. The place keeps this amazing, typical "charming french" atmosphere, it has a very interesting history, and you can feel The energy once you step in - because of the real old objects and of course because of the traditions kept by the staff.
The staff is incredibly flexible (which is rare for France :-) ), and they would always try to find the best solution for you according to your food preferences. The food is delicious (bravo The Chef!), and you can feel that the ingredients are of a very high quality. It's also very fair in terms of price/quality/quantity of food served (trust me - I know all the "restaurants gastronomiques" of the region.:-))
I would definitely recommend to listen to the Somelier for the choice of wines, the Somelier who is also incredibly nice, professional and friendly!
Thanks again to this place for the last experience - great as always! A must-go place if you are in the French Riviera (plus it's only 30min driving from Nice). You can also visit a cute old french village after your lunch/dinner - Peillon, where the place is situated.

A lost extraordinary world, a small treasure for privacy and silence, beautiful sunrises in the mountains of Provence and sunsets after a hot day. You run there to get lost... to write a book or draw, read and think... And also to meet passionate wonderful people who will surround you with care and comfort. A wonderful five-course dinner is another treasure and discovery of Auberge de la Madone. There is only one problem - you will want to come back. ❤️🌟

A Magic place with the best service. Friendly and a great place to have a nice customer experience! The service is more than 5 stars. The restaurant is amazing with delicious flavors. The breakfast in the patio is a mix of different scenarios to enjoy the nice food and aromatic coffee in the morning!

A beautiful hotel at the foot of the hilltop village of Peillon. The owner and his family and staff are there to guide you through the menu and tell you about the provenance of the food; it's really special. Rooms with balconies are lovely. In a traditional style, with electric fans for the summer heat, a TV and small fridge.

Room tip: Take Alltrails' walk from the hotel to Monaco. Beautiful, with some challenging elevations & descents in the summer heat. Go spring/aut. Wait for the view of the sea!
